Pet care works into my daily routine as my schedule is set and very flexible, allowing me to do short drop ins throughout the day if needed or would best suit a puppy who needs those extra potty breaks!

With my in home care , I strive to make the transition of “pawrents” leaving and me coming in as smooth and seamless as possible! I have a set schedule that I can work around thought the day. I am happy to follow a daily schedule that your pup is used to so they don’t get overwhelmed or stressed. I strive to send multiple pictures a day and give frequent updates. I care for pets the same way I would my own family furry friends!

Please let me know the best way to greet your dog during the first meeting. Whether that is ignoring and no eye contact until they initiate a meeting, or being quiet and calm, all the way to just coming on in and them thinking you’re already family! I do always try to have treats on me, if your dog has any restrictions or preferences , let me know ahead of time and I will have those ready for them! I also do walk along meet and greets, if your dog is more comfortable meeting someone on neutral ground, I am more than happy to accompany you on a walk! Also people let me know of any known behaviors, whether that is resource guarding, dog/people aggression, or anything that may upset them during our time together. I want to make the transition while you’re gone as smooth as possible for both you and your furry friends!

I love to give dogs puzzles and activities to stimulate their brains! If your dog is into agility, I am more than happy to work with them on their skills and practice a bit myself! I also love to spoil the puppies I watch, I love to make a trip out to the dog store and get them a toy or a yummy snack! I am happy to accommodate your furry friends needs, whatever that may be!

My experience working with dogs in the doggy daycare setting has given me many skills to apply into my dog sitting role! I have cared for dogs from itty bitty 5 pounds all the way to 150+ pounds! I also have experience administering medications to dogs including liquid form and pill form. I have mastered the task of hiding the pills well in special treats to where they don’t even notice! I have personally cared for my own senior dog who was on multiple medications daily, and needed special attention to specific details. I would love to meet you and your furry friends, and make sure they feel loved and cared for while you’re away!

Claire did a beautiful job with our cat. Giving her shots isn’t always easy but appeared to not be a problem.
Claire is great with our dog and our cat. Super sweet and our pets love her. Thank you, Claire, for being there for us. We know our fur babies will be safe and well in your care.
Claire did an incredible job. She was great with communication and did everything we asked. She was very sweet and the animals loved her. We really appreciate how much time she spent with them and how reliable she was. Very grateful and she even worked over the holiday, which can be hard to find. We hope she keeps pet sitting forever, we will definitely use her again anytime.
