Information Claire D. would like to know about your pet
How old is the dog, previous training, previous walker and if so was there anything the previous walker brought up as concerns, food allergies (as I do use treats), any medications, physical limitations/injuries, bite history, any triggers?
A typical day
I like to go to off leash dog parks most of the time. This is where most of my experience is. I typically take my dogs to Stern Grove, Fort Funston, Bernal Hill or Glen Park Canyon. I also do walks around a client's neighborhood, on leash of course. There are many options that I am open to. I have a collection of toys ranging from chew toys to chuck it balls and frisbees which I love to use as training tools! I also use treats for training purposes/reinforcement and of course to keep those tails wagging away!

Pet care experience
I have been in the pet care business for 10 years. When I first started working with dogs, I assisted dog walkers that had their own established dog walking businesses. The walkers I worked for provided off leash pack walk adventures! I assisted a number of walkers with their packs of dogs. I learned a lot by assisting different walkers as I got exposed to different methods and strategies of managing the dogs as well as gained experience handling different breeds! It was the most fun I ever had at a job! I decided to get certified in hopes that I could possibly start my own business one day! Boy was I glad I did! The glorious day fell upon me when a walker that I was working for told me that a friend of theirs was selling their business! I was enthralled and decided to take a leap of faith! I bought it from her! I got to finally start my own business! What an amazing experience! I grew steadily and as I grew, I started to add other services to my business. I started to provide in home pet care at my clients' homes. This was such fun because I always felt like I was going on staycation! When I finally got a living situation where I could have pets at my place, I started offering boarding services! This was the ideal situation for all! I got to have groups of dogs over at my place vs. having to be limited to just a dog or two depending on the house I was sitting at! It was so much more fun when the pups had other friends to play with when their owners had to leave them! I was in business for myself for 8 years! This all came to end when I decided to move to Idaho! But I miss being with all the doggos so much so I decided why not try to offer my services here so I can meet some great pups of the gem state! I have experience working with all sizes, a wide variety of breeds, dog that suffer from separation anxiety, senior dogs and puppies! I have worked with balance trainers and positive reinforcement trainers. I have 2 mentors who were in the business for 20+ years that have provided me with a plethora of training and education regarding dog psychology and behavior modification so you can rest assured that I will provide high quality care in a very comfortable home setting where your pup will be cared for as if they were my very own Stormy girl! Yes! I have my very own dog and her name is Stormy! She is a king shepherd who has been grown up walking in off leash pack walks since she was old enough to do so! She does great with all dogs but she especially loves the puppies! Let us know if you are interested in possibly coming over to our place for some fun! We can set up some meet times beforehand to make sure a sleep over would be a good fit! Stormy and I are looking forward to meeting all the gem pups of the beautiful gem state!

Fantastic job, very thoughtful and dogs were happy when I picked them up.

Claire was awesome with our dog Rigby! He got lots of playing in and became best friends with her dogs. Claire kept us updated with pictures and videos and we know our puppy had a great time.

Claire was the best! She handled my crazy husky like a champ. She was very attentive and responded quickly when I would check in. She also sent lots of pictures of Maui throughout our trip. Loved that claire had an instagram so we could see what our crazy pup was up to! She made sure Maui got lots of playtime and attention… also helped that she had two sweet dogs that could keep maui entertained. I will definitely be using claire again when we need her. Love her!

Incredible experience! Clare is amazing, intuitive, kind and knowledge. My dog was comfortable right away. We met the other dogs that were there that weekend, they were all playful and fun. She took them to the park everyday, posted live instagram videos so we could see how happy he was and gave him a ton of direct attention and love. She loves what she does and it shows!! Highly recommend and will be booking again the next time we are in town. Thank you Clare!!!
