For drop ins, I would need to know if the animal is secure or likely to rush out so I can ensure they don’t escape. Being a stranger, it would be good to meet the pet and owner beforehand so I can ensure they are comfortable with me and so I know where their food and toys and anything else (like medicine) is located

My family owned a dog 15 years and so I have experience with dogs, just not recently. I’m not so familiar with large dogs so would prefer to start with smaller animals first. Currently own two cats so very familiar with caring for them and their needs.

Claire looked after my cat Rex and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better care. From the start, she was professional, reliable, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. Rex can be quite particular, but he settled so well with her, which really reassured me. Claire kept me updated with messages and photos, which made a huge difference while I was away. I came home to a very happy, relaxed cat. I would highly recommend Claire to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their pet.
