I've been house-sitting since 2022 and have looked after cats, dogs, rabbits, horses and chickens in a variety of locations throughout the UK. I've always had cats of my own and have a nineteen-year-old tortoiseshell, who my parents kindly take care of when I'm away. I'm experienced with most breeds of cat and am particularly sensitive to the needs of elderly cats. I've looked after various dog breeds and am responsible and aware of any particular requirements. I've always loved animals and believe their needs must come first.

Safety, trust & environment
When house-sitting, I follow the owner's instructions completely with regards to feeding, sleeping arrangements, dog-walking, medication and cleaning up. I am security-conscious, tidy, clean and treat other people's property and belongings with the highest regard.

Claire was an amazing house sitter.Arriving on time as planned and took time to get to know the cats and ask all the necessary questions before we left for our holiday.We received photographs and updates about how the cats were doing and we felt totally confident that the house and pets were so well cared for.One of the cats took a particular shine to Claire.On our return the house was immaculately clean and the cats were happy and contented.We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Claire and really hope she will return to look after our house and pets again in the near future.A big thank you from us.
Claire used to house sit and care for my lovely lab Lenny. He was always well looked after and maybe just a touch spoiled! Claire was very respectful and looked after the house & garden with care. Thoroughly recommend!

Schedule
My main work is remote and therefore, I have the flexibility during the week and at week-ends for house-sitting and pet visits in my local area.
