I grew up next to a dog park and spent most of my free time around dogs, learning their personalities, body language, and energy naturally from a young age. I began pet sitting during my teen and college years, and over time developed a strong ability to help animals feel safe, comfortable, and understood. While attending school in Boston, I also worked at a pet supply shop, where I regularly interacted with dogs and their owners and further developed my understanding of pet care, behavior, routines, and different personality types. Professionally, I work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and caregiver, which has strengthened my skills in patience, consistency, structure, emotional awareness, and reading behavior cues. I’m especially good with sensitive, shy, anxious, high-energy, or routine-oriented pets because I naturally bring a grounded and calming presence. I understand the importance of reliability, communication, and maintaining routines that help pets feel secure while their owners are away. Whether that means energetic walks and playtime, quiet companionship, or extra attentiveness to specific needs, I adapt to each pet individually. I also have experience caring for pets in clients’ homes and understand the importance of respecting both the animal’s environment and the family’s space.
