The Unique Needs of Brooklyn Pets
I grew up with dogs, cats, and critters in the home, and started pet care professionally in 2014. I walked 18 dogs a day on the Upper West Side, SOHO, and Brooklyn while providing puppy services, basic behavioral training, potty breaks, and overnight sitting. In 2016, I was hired to write a blog on dog care specific to NYC needs. I am incredibly well-versed in pets living in the city, and I cannot wait to make your dog's walk the best they have ever had!

Claire was a wonderful longterm dog walker to our four-year-old pittie mix, June! She was always professional, communicative, and we could tell she loved June as if she was one of her own pets. June deals with some reactivity to other dogs and Claire handled her needs with care and regular updates. We always felt she was in good hands on her walks with Claire!

Schedule
I have seasonal work as a horticulturist in the Spring and Fall (~two weeks each season.) Otherwise, dog walking is my daily routine, and I love it!

- I love to know all the info you can give me--even if I won't need it. This helps me understand your pet's daily routine and how I can get them ready for their next activity. I am not shy, so I will ask how many times they usually poop on their walk, if they need special booties for the winter, what areas of the neighborhood to avoid, if they are reactive to other dogs or certain people, what treats they can have, and if they need to have their paws cleaned up before coming home. All info is good info! I would love to set up a meet and greet to iron out the details.
