I have a part time job as a tour guide in Holy Trinity Church. I find that the shifts are short enough that they can be accommodated around any sitting job. However if needed I can always organise my shifts around a sit if your pet is anxious.

I always like to meet the pet and to get some notes on daily routines and feeding. Each pet is different and I always like my clients to understand that building a bond can take a little time.
A typical day
I have learned every sit is different. Sometimes I’m out walking for an hour or more with a dog. Sometimes it’s more about play another time it’s about lots of cuddles. Sometimes all of these things apply. With a more nervous dog it’s about quiet calm and letting them come to you.

I have always felt honoured when a cat chooses to live with me. In the last 2 years I have sat for Burmese kittens to 3 month sit for Miss Molly whose owner goes back to South Africa to visit family. I have also sat for a blind cat. I will attempt to reach the exactin g standards your cat or cats set for me.

I was very happy to leave my cats in Claire’s care - the first time I’ve left them so long. Getting photos every visit and confirmation that all were present and correct was reassuring and enabled me to enjoy my holiday. Claire is a lovely person and obviously loves and understands cats. I won’t hesitate to use her services again.
Can highly recommend Claire who looked after Lucky for a couple of days . She’s an old cat that likes a lot of fuss. Claire spent some time on a meet and greet and asked a lot of questions about Lucky. She’s very reliable and sent updates and photos.
Claire took great care of our two (large) Golden Retrievers one evening while we were at the RSC theater. Her flat is only a couple of minutes' walk from the RSC, and very convenient. Claire was a delight to work with, asked all the right questions on how to make the dogs comfortable and address their particular needs, and is someone we would definitely use again if we are able to get tickets for another production in the future!
