I love grumpy cats.
I am a Canadian woman living in Scheveningen. Since I am self-employed and work from home, I would love to use this flexibility to take care of some cats around my neighbourhood. I am a cat owner myself. I have a lovely senior brown tabby cat that I adopted in 2017. I have taken care of 20+ cats in the last few years, ranging from kittens to geriatric cats and I love them all. Although I do have a soft spot for grumpy cats and cats with peculiar drinking habits.

Claire is a great cat sitter! Our cats were very well looked after, with lots of play time and daily updates and photos (on top of all the general care like water, food and litter).
We have had the lovely Claire cat-sit 3 times now and each time on our return the cats are happy, groomed and have clearly been looked after well. We have used her for quick trips and longer vacations. She is excellent about keeping in touch with photos and messages on each visit and provided the reassurance we needed. Highly recommended!

Claire was very communicative, easy to talk to and apparently great for my two kitties. Because when I normally come back from a vacation, my cats are a bit annoyed and tend to ignore me for a day or so. But this time, that wasn’t the case at all. They were purring and all like: ‘Miauw, miauw, miauw.’ That I was able to interpret as: ‘Yes, we know you deserted us – again – but is was ok so we’re not going to pretend that we don’t care and also somehow forgot about your existence after four days.’ Anyway, I recommend her as a cat sitter.

Schedule
I am self-employed and work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule on most days. If you cat needs a bit more company, I can work from your home a few days a week.

- Please let me know if your cat has specific needs, such as: - particular drinking/eating habits and other quirky habits - medical issues - vet information (if applicable) - anything else that may be useful to know :) Please note that I'm not trained to administer medication.
