My main priority with caring for dogs is to make sure they are as happy and healthy as possible. That can look a variety of ways depending on the dog, but I prefer to offer endless snuggles and training of some sort to provide the perfect amount of stimulation.

I would like to be notified about any food sensitivities, reactivity to any other animals (especially for when going on walks), medications, and disabilities prior to meeting the pet so that I can properly accommodate them and make sure that I can give them the best care possible.
A typical day
I love to provide a balance of stimulation and rest by covering basic commands and tricks for mental stimulation, and snuggles and gentle play time for rest.

I have grown up volunteering in my local humane society and worked in the dog daycare and boarding industry for 3 years. I also have experience caring for other pets including cats, fish, and even lizards! I offer both walking and house sitting services, but will also train basic commands upon request.

Claire is the most wonderful pet sitter. We have known her for years and she has treated each one of our dogs like the family members we count them to be. They are so excited when Claire comes over! She's been responsible for giving them medicine when needed, feeding them, walking them, etc. There's no one I trust more to give our dogs love and attention while we are away.
Claire watched my two dogs for a week over Christmas. She was amazing! My girls went on multiple walks a day. She even taught them new tricks! They were so happy!! Claire really has a special bond with animals. We love having her help us.
Claire loves dogs, all animals for that matter. She especially loves dogs. All dogs - Big, Little, pure bred, mutt; you name it. She has watched for us and other families. She connects to the dogs through love and adoration. Claire really loves all dogs and treats them as if they are her babies. Your dogs could not be in better care than with Claire.
Claire is the biggest animal lover I have ever met. Your pets are in the best hands with her. She is timely and responsible and can handle all types of pets. She has watched our elderly dog, our young and energetic dog as well as our gecko and fish. Claire really connects with the animals and truly loves them like they are her own. Everyone was happy when we returned home. You will not find a better pet sitter!
