I work from home most days, so my schedule is incredibly flexible! Most weekends, I'm pretty much wide open during the day and I love to put a headphone in and go for a long walk.

I'm familiar with crating dogs if they need it and when I enter a house with a dog I understand they may be timid or scared at first. I believe it's all about understanding the dogs body language to learn how they want me to interact with them.

I love to get to know your pets in advance with a meet and greet. It gives me the opportunity to see where their stuff is and learn if they’ll be timid. That being said, some dogs don’t need it :) I leave it up to the owners.
A typical day
A typical day for me is working from home. My dogs gets to go out several times to the backyard. And we go for at least one walk a day. I love 2+ miles walks when the weather is nice.

Pet care experience
I rescued my large dog about 7 years ago, and he can be very nervous. Training him has helped me to understand behavior issues and reading body language. He's pretty big (about 85lb) and I have no issues handling him on walks if he reacts to things before I can step in, so that makes it easy to handle every other dog! I also have experience watching a dog who's reactive to other dogs, so I know how to get them to properly walk by and avoid issues. I love to work on training my dog with new skills and taking him on long walks or hikes when the weather is nice. I always use R+ training techniques. I’m good at getting cats and dogs to take oral medications Pet parents just want to know their dog is cared for, and I will do just that :)
