My current job has me working 2-6 Monday through Friday, and 1:15-6 on Wednesdays. Since I don’t work long hours, that leaves me pretty open when it comes to pet care!

Since I don’t offer boarding in my own home, I will travel to yours to care for your pet. When housesitting, I tend to hang out in the area where your pet is in the most to keep an eye on them if they need anything, and to keep them company while I’m around (if I can, I also like being on the floor so if they want to come and say hi or get some pets I’m right within their reach)! Also, I may be unfamiliar with the neighborhood, but that won’t discourage me from taking your furry friend on walks if they’re able!

If your pet has any health concerns I should know about, I would appreciate being told ahead of time, just so I can make sure I’m caring for them in the best way possible. Also, any little quirks or behaviors I should know will help me understand them and get to know them better!
A typical day
I’ll take your pet on a walk if they’re able to, and try to make it at least 20 minutes. If they know any tricks, I’d love to know so I can try them out with them! We can play outside or inside.

I have had a dog of myself for 10+ years, and he has definitely helped me learn a lot! I’m able to easily form great relationships with any dog I have met (so far), and absolutely adore being around them and caring for them. Thanks to my experience as a dog owner, I know all there is to know of the basics of caring for dogs of all ages.

We have owned a pet in our home for over 13 years and Claire has been exceptional in caring for him. She’s been involved in bathing walking and feeding him as well as helping him learn tricks using treats as rewards. She’s always had a love for animals, reaching out to owners, asking if she can say hi to their pet pets when they’re out on walks.
