Tell Baha Men I LET THE DOGS OUT!
I started the largest dog walking and pet sitting service in the Greater Milwaukee area with over 500 clients (dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, chickens and more!). I decided to sell my business, Pet Sitting MKE in 2023 to thru-hike from Mexico to Canada along the PCT. I have since completed two long distance trails and cannot stop walking- but also can’t stop making more furry friends! I have since moved back to my hometown where I am starting fresh. I am Pet CPR and First Aid Certified as well as Dog Body Language certified. I am excited to continue to build a new clientele with more furry and feathered friends in a new area and hope that I can provide you with peace of mind when you’re away from your fur babies.

I believe that transparency is incredibly important and so although it might not always be an option I’m much prefer a meet and greet prior to a booking so that I can get to know every client in advance to know how to best meet their needs… both human and four legged! I am pet first aid and CPR trained, as well as body language certified. Unless requested, I typically find it easiest to avoid other potential liabilities by not introducing pets to strangers on the street or other dogs. I’m not a fan of public dog parks and much prefer the comfort and control of a private dog park, sniff spot, or leashed trail walk. I also like to send throw updates and clear photos of your pets during their booking with me to ensure every clients piece of mind.

Claire was incredible, and we’re so grateful for her. She stepped in last minute when Linda and I needed to attend a funeral, and her kindness truly meant the world to us. She even left a thoughtful note that made an already emotional day a little easier. Claire took wonderful care of Tobias — walking him, playing with him, cuddling him, and even introducing him to her two cockatoos. The photos showed a happy, relaxed pup, which gave us complete peace of mind and allowed us to be fully present for our dear friend who had just lost her mom. We would absolutely book Claire again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for compassionate, reliable care. 🐾💛!!!
Claire has walked my pup, Bear, twice now, and he absolutely adores her! She is always prompt with responses to scheduling responses, and is also willing to do her best to fit you in (even when you're requesting last minute help on her busiest day!). You can really tell she loves what she does and is so happy to be spending her time with your pets. She recently took my pup to the dog park for an hour, and took several pictures of him having a blast to keep me updated. Afterwards, he was muddy and she went above and beyond and rinsed him the tub, wiped him down with wipes and towels, and even cleaned up some cardboard he had shredded. She did all of this while keeping me updated so I wasn't worried about Bear. I would highly, highly recommend using Claire for all of her services and I will definitely be a repeat client.

Schedule
I currently have a full-time career, but have the flexibility to work from home or adjust my schedule at my own desire. This allows me the flexibility to meet every pet needs and check in based on their typical routine!
