I currently have a full-time career, but have the flexibility to work from home or adjust my schedule at my own desire. This allows me the flexibility to meet every pet needs and check in based on their typical routine!

I believe that transparency is incredibly important and so although it might not always be an option I’m much prefer a meet and greet prior to a booking so that I can get to know every client in advance to know how to best meet their needs… both human and four legged! I am pet first aid and CPR trained, as well as body language certified. Unless requested, I typically find it easiest to avoid other potential liabilities by not introducing pets to strangers on the street or other dogs. I’m not a fan of public dog parks and much prefer the comfort and control of a private dog park, sniff spot, or leashed trail walk. I also like to send throw updates and clear photos of your pets during their booking with me to ensure every clients piece of mind.

Please let us know if your pets have any dietary restrictions. We do not feed table scraps, but may bring high-value treats as positive reinforcement or the occasional bribe to gain trust. PLEASE if your dog is fearful of people entering their home and we did not have time for an initial meet and greet before booking, to ensure my safety, please make me aware of how to best handle the situation when entering your home.
A typical day
This is depending on many variables, but I find it easiest mimic a pets, typical at home routine to ensure their comfort while their owners are away. Because my career offers me the flexibility to work from home or adjust my schedule at a whim, this allows me the flexibility to provide specialized care for every furry friend. I myself in an active person and endurance athlete so if your pet enjoys time outside, I love to take them on leashed trail, hikes or long walks to provide them with an enriching day! I have lots of pet puzzles or boredom busters as well that can be provided in supplement if Weather is not ideal, or if we need some mental stimulation as well.

Pet care experience
I started the largest dog walking and pet sitting service in the Greater Milwaukee area with over 500 clients (dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, chickens and more!). I decided to sell my business, Pet Sitting MKE in 2023 to thru-hike from Mexico to Canada along the PCT. I have since completed two long distance trails and cannot stop walking- but also can’t stop making more furry friends! I have since moved back to my hometown where I am starting fresh. I am Pet CPR and First Aid Certified as well as Dog Body Language certified. I am excited to continue to build a new clientele with more furry and feathered friends in a new area and hope that I can provide you with peace of mind when you’re away from your fur babies.
