My husband and I both work from home full time. We have plenty of time to spend petting and caring for your pup! I am available most days and can be flexible to meet your needs.

We have an extra large park like fenced-in back yard where our wolfhound loves to play with all his new friends! We can accommodate outdoor play, even in wet conditions. We love welcoming pups to be part of the family, in our home we truly have Happy Hearts and Happy Hounds.

Information Clair R. would like to know about your pet
Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
We have an extra large fenced in yard that the dogs are free to roam around and smell all the new areas as they are having fun running around and playing with our super friendly wolfhound. I typically do not take dogs to dog parks as one cannot control the actions of other people's dogs and I feel like that's too much risk to take.

Experienced Service Dog Trainer
Pet care experience
I am a therapy and service dog trainer turned stay-at-home mom. I've been training and working with therapy dogs since 2013, and worked as a service dog trainer for disabled veterans until my 3rd child was born in 2016. I enjoy getting to understand the different personalities that come with each individual pup I meet. I'm a true animal lover, and from a young age I have enjoyed working with a verity of animals, to include dogs, horses, and many other farm animals. Engaging in fun activities to mentally and physically engage our wonderful furry friends is very rewarding for me.
Reviews

Clair and her family are such a warm and welcoming presence. Clair’s home is an oasis for dogs between the giant backyard and two dogs to play with. Our dog seemed like she enjoyed her stay just as much as she likes being home. We are also super grateful for Clair’s flexibility as our trip didn’t quite go as planned but she was more than willing to accommodate even beyond what we would’ve expected. We definitely recommend you check Clair out for any dog sitting needs. We won’t hesitate to use her again.
We can always count on Clair to care for our beloved Khaleesi. Clair has such a kind, loving spirit…we know we don’t have to worry about our pup when we drop her off.

I received lots of pictures of my doggo's having a great time. This is the second time we have used Clair and I am grateful for the care she provided.

Clair is very experienced and has a great setup. I trust her to give my doodle TLC and fun.
