Currently I am taking a break from working, with that, I can dedicate a lot of my time to your critters in my care! I don’t like to leave the animals alone often so the longest they would be alone is no more than 4 hours. I have space for crates if your animal is most comfortable in a little part of their own home.

I live in a senior dog friendly home as it only requires 3 steps for your puppers to get up, and have personal experience with older dogs. I also have experience in medicating even the pickiest of dogs with pills, I am trained in injections for my own dogs allergies, and I am incredibly observant of your animals normal behavior. I also live near a dog park so if you’ve got a social dog, I will gladly let them tire themselves out. The animals that I have are socialized and respective of your pets language. I have owned reptiles before so even the oddest of animals can be cared for!

I would like to know if a dog is dog friendly and kid friendly. This won't deter me from taking care, it will just ensure that I can do my job safely and avoid any triggers for your beloved pet.
A typical day
I like to hike so any place pet accessible or just in your neighborhood. Wherever the dogs nose wants to take us is also a fun option for walks!

I am a person who has always had an affinity for animals. I've had a dog my entire life, and have had experience with reptiles. Cats are a joy for me to hangout with as well. I have previously volunteered with a dog rescue and fell in love with every dog that came in. I also studied animal science for two years before transferring into a premed degree. I am receptive of animals health and feelings and wouldn't hesitate to let you know if your animals health and behavior is concerning. Upon my move down to Arizona from Minnesota, I couldn't bring it in me to leave my fish behind so I did what I could to make sure no animal is left behind. With that I would like to consider myself a fully capable pet sitter who would show compassion to any animal within your households.

Clair is just THE BEST!! She is so reliable and calm. She obviously loves animals beyond words, and it is apparent in how much our animals love her back! We could never go anywhere without knowing we have Clair!
I feel so secure leaving our pets in Clair's care every time we need a pet sitter. Our pets are happy to see Clair and cuddle up with her. She sends messages and photos to reassure us while we're gone. I can focus on our trip knowing our pets are going to be well cared for, which is such a huge relief. We are so grateful for Clair.

Clair was great with our pets! She even managed to get our scaredy-cat to come sit with her and he let her pet him too! So, that meant he was much less stressed and handled our absence with ease. Clair sent photos of the pets and let us know how they were doing. She was responsible, kind and a perfect pet-person. We hope to hire Clair again soon!
