Trustworthy & Compassionate Care

If you are looking for dedicated, secure, loving care for your fury friends, please talk to me. I have references from over the past 30 years and have accumulated a wide variety of experiences and qualifications for reliable pet and house-sitting assignments. After recently retiring as a working professional, I have dedicated my time to taking care of pets and helping folks travel with the security and comfort that their pets and homes are in trustworthy hands. I have raised boxer dogs for many years, and truly recognize the magic and joy of having beloved companions. My home has a large fenced yard and a swimming pool. Inside is a clean, nonsmoking environment with terrazzo floors. Lots of windows and patio doors to view the outdoors. Whether your pet loves outdoor exercise and fun play, is a couch potato TV buff, or somewhere in between, I will make it happen. I am also available to come to your home for house and pet sitting services. I understand better than most how pleasant it is to leave when you know your home and pets are well taken care of. House-sitting services may include 24-hour - long or short term - caring for pets, inside and outside duties / maintenance, watering plants, handling mail, phone messages, in addition to occasional odd jobs.

CJ was great to work with. She is a great communicator. She sent multiple pictures and updates through each day of his stay. Her house is welcoming and comfortable for our senior dog. CJ will be my first choice in the future.

CJ is so wonderful! We left our dogs, who had never been left anywhere, with her and they were right at home. We got lots of photos and communication. She is a dog lover and you can really tell that. She took care of them and we felt great. We will definitely use CJ again for our doggies.

So happy to recommend CJ to anyone on Rover! Our 3-1/2 year old rescue dog, Jackson, had never stayed in anyone else's home before we found CJ on Rover. We were so grateful that CJ made him feel welcome, loved and totally safe in her beautiful South Florida home with a large, fenced-in yard. CJ sent us photos every day he was in her care--and she was also kind enough to set up playdates for Jackson before he started boarding, just to be sure he would get along with the other dogs in her care during his stay. We really could not have found a more perfect person to care for our sweet boy.

CJ responded quickly to my request and we set up a meet n greet. My pup warmed right up to her. I shall be contacting CJ again.

Schedule

I am available 24 / 7 for all listed services which includes many holidays and peak vacation time. While caring for your pet, any time I am away from home is typically due to local, short errands. Pet and house-sitting is my passion, however, it is also a business. For regular, loyal clients, I go out of my way to accommodate the last-minute requests even if it sometimes means changing my own plans. For new clients, I accommodate them if I reasonably can.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a large, private fenced backyard that also has an in-ground pool. I am always with your dog while they are enjoying the outdoors. The yard accommodates Frisbee and ball running play, and well as rolling in the grass. Florida has intense sunshine so outdoor play is timed to eliminate any sun burns or heat exhaustion. Dogs also enjoy walks which is done during the cooler parts of the day to prevent paws on hot surfaces. The inside of my home is typically aired at 78 degrees. The cool terrazzo floors are always a favorite for pets to lay on. My home is like your home while caring for your fury friend. In other words, if you let pets on the furniture or bed, I will accommodate this practice. Water bowls are constantly full, and pet food is given at your normal, routine times, along with treats. I currently do not have any pets, and look forward to making new fury friends at your home or mine!

Knowing as much information as possible about a pet is important so I can provide the best care possible. Let me know if there are extra services required such as frequent bathing. Does the pet have any allergies or stomach issues with certain foods, plants, or environment (such as bee stings). Please give specific information regarding any medications and administering medicine like when, how much, and how often. Any fears such as thunderstorms, firecrackers, vacuum cleaner, etc. For good behavior or to reward the pet, do you give treats or extra affection to reinforce the positive behavior. Is there any poor behavior, and what is the response or commands to use. How does the dog react when meeting new fury friends? It is important to have vet contact info and pet insurance information.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
