Our schedules vary by week and booking status. BOARDING/DAYCARE - Standard Drop-Off/Pick-Up windows: 8-9am & 5-6PM M-S, No AM slot on Sundays. Times outside of this may be possible w/ extra fees. HOUSE SITTING - includes overnight (from approximately 9pm-9am) w/ 1 midday visit included per night booked In regards to boarding or daycare expect your furry family members to be integrated into our schedule. This means that we will be in and out of the home as normal but, will make sure that they are pottied regularly and given the the love they need! This means that we do NOT provide constant care and REQUIRE your pet to be comfortable being left alone penned, crated, or gated away from other pets while unattended depending on their comfort level! This also means that pets need to be content and non-destructive while being left alone. This is for the safety of your pet and the safety of other pets in our care. Pets and boarding should be able to comfortably tolerate alone time for 5 to 6 hours at a time. The house sitting includes our overnight time (from approximately 9pm-9am) and one mid day drop in visit. Any additional visits needed are priced individually. While we strive to spend as time as possible in your home during a sitting, this is the maximum amount of time that can be guaranteed during stays without additional service fees.

Safety, trust & environment
Our boarding/daycare program is an in-home, small scale (<5 dogs at a time) program with multiple potty breaks, playtimes, and other outings throughout the day which offers dogs a calmer, quieter, and more hands-on experience than traditional boarding facilities while still maintaining the safety and cleaning protocols of high volume facilities with professional Veterinary-grade cleaning products. In my home, I REQUIRE ALL pets to be crated, gated, or penned for their safety when not under direct supervision. This helps me maintain the safety of all guests and of my own pets while when you are furry family members are under my care. Because I host on average 1-2 households of pets at a time it is vital that all pets are comfortable with crates, large indoor kennels or dog gates and with being unattended in those settings for at least 5-6 hours at a time. Dogs here for boarding or daycare are expected to be up-to-date on rabies, distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations. While in my home, especially for first time, guests, your furry family member will spend their time in my dedicated pet care spaces and does not have free/unattended access to roam the house. This allows me to ensure the highest safety standards for your pet while they are in my care allowing me to control what other animals and people they interact with, when applicable, during their stay. This also helps avoid destructive behaviors that could be harmful for your pet as well as accidents, like doors and windows being open, leaving a potential escape hazards out of the reach of your pet. This does mean that they need to be mostly comfortable with separation from me as I do NOT provide CONSTANT care (aka 24/7 supervision), In the home, you can expect your furry family member to get regular socialization, including, but not limited to, playtime, enrichment activities, or casual companionship, based on their personality. If appropriate, our guests have the opportunity to interact with our resident or other guest animals. In order to do that dogs must socially appropriate and dog friendly. However, if that’s not the case, there will be no shortage of activities for them to enjoy solo, or with a human playmate! Because my yard is not fenced all clients are required to be supervised and leashed outside at all times. I also have an outdoor tether available to use by client dogs which may be more comfortable for those unfamiliar with going potty on leash. In client homes and on walks we require all dogs to be leash or completely and securely fenced in at all times (this does not include electric fences).

Information Cipriana & Pamela C. would like to know about your pet
We’d love to know whether your dog has any prior experience with cats or other dogs. We would also like to know whether your dog is spayed or neutered. We also ask that you inform us of any known behavioral issues. Those issues may not deter us from caring for your dog however, knowing them ahead of time will allow us to properly prepare and make your dog's experience as enjoyable as possible. Additionally, We would like to know what you allow your dog to do around the house so we know what they are permitted to do while in our care.
A typical day
We are all about animal enrichment of both the mental and physical variety. Please bring with your dog any enrichment activities that they enjoy or are used to so we can readily offer them to your pup. Please also let us know if they are not able to have any type of protein or have other allergies as we do offer some in-house enrichment with treats of our own. On a typical day, dogs are pottied first thing in the morning, followed by breakfast, (when applicable). Then they will spend a couple hours by themselves in their crates or kennels while I meet with clients or do other work. Then at midday everybody goes outside for a potty session, followed by either playing or quality time out of the kennel/crate. This might look different for each dog. For some, play will not be appropriate so and enrichment game or spending some time on the couch may be what their afternoon outing looks like. After that they are expected to spend another couple hours having some downtime before everyone gets another run outside with some additional in enrichment/playtime followed by dinner (when applicable). after dinner, they will get another couple hours of rest, or play and enrichment, depending on their activity levels. They are again broight outside right before bed If your dog needs to be “groomed” while they are in our care please just let us know. Bathing and brushing is no problem at all as long as you are pup is well acclimated to bathing and brushing.

INSURED Dog Trainer & Pet Caretaker
Pet care experience
Do you want insured, professional pet care from a dedicated full-time team? Catskill Mountain Canine LLC provides high-quality care delivered by experienced pet care professionals—not casual or part-time sitters. Since 2017, I’ve been providing professional pet care and boarding as a primary service, working directly with clients and their pets on a daily basis. Over time, this has expanded into a team-based approach, with Pam now officially joining Catskill Mountain Canine to help support client care. Pam primarily assists with pet check-ins and dog walks in the Kingston, Saugerties, and Woodstock areas. I focus on dog training, boarding, daycare, and select in-home services in Saugerties. Together, we provide consistent, reliable care coverage and flexible scheduling support. Our priority is always the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of your pets. With combined professional experience in animal care, we are able to support a wide range of needs—including senior pets and animals with medical or behavioral considerations. We are trained in animal first aid and experienced in administering oral, topical, and injectable medications, including fluids. We also maintain a strong working knowledge of canine and feline dietary hazards and safety risks. One key advantage of working with our team is continuity of care. With two experienced providers available, we are better equipped to handle complex care needs, last-minute changes, and ensure uninterrupted coverage if scheduling conflicts arise. This level of redundancy is especially valuable for clients traveling or caring for senior or special-needs pets. We are excited to welcome you and your pets and invite you to learn more about our services below. Reviews

We had a great experience boarding our big sensitive dog while we were away! She is often hesitant with new people but she was comfortable with Cipriana right away and seemed to settle in without a problem. Cipriana was helpful and responsive and sent us pictures of our girl. Thanks for taking care of Rayna!!

My dog was in good spirits when I picked her up after staying with Cipriana . I appreciated the photos she sent of Abby cuddling on the couch! I will definitely use Cipriana’s services again in the future.

Excellent service, as usual. Highly recommend.

Excellent service (as usual)! They are reliable, responsible and I come home to a happy and calm kitty. Happy to keep using them. Thanks again!
