Pet care experience

Your dog's home away from home

I've been caring for friends' dogs for years, and I know how stressful it can be to leave your pup in a new environment. That’s why I only accept one dog at a time, ensuring your dog gets my full attention, care, and plenty of love. (If you have two small dogs, feel free to reach out!) We have a charming fenced-in backyard; It's a great little space for your dog to play fetch or bask in the sun. I never leave the dogs unattended in the backyard. Your dog will also get plenty of walk time in, as I walk my dog at least once a day and live in a walkable neighborhood. I work from home as a designer, so your dog will never be left alone for long. Your pup must be cat-friendly—we have a relaxed rescue cat, Kimchi, who mostly does her own thing. Our home is quiet, kid-free, and pet-friendly, making it a great environment for dogs who prefer a calm setting. About me: I am a visual designer who also does ceramics by night. You can find me usually at home working on something creative and listening to music. Please be sure to bring: a leash and harness, dog food for your stay, a food bowl, and poop bags. You may also bring a dog bed and a few toys—anything to make your dog's stay more comfortable. Feel free to message me with any questions. I am here to help!

Cindy took such good care of my dog! She sent photos every day, along with an update of how my doggie was doing. Cindy made sure to give my dog her eye drops twice a day, which isn’t always easy. Between Cindy’s yard and walks, my dog got plenty of outside time and, from the photos, I’m sure she got lots of snuggle time, too. I will definitely book Cindy again to take care of my dog!

Cindy was a wonderful caretaker to our dog, Luna. She just knew what to do and how to handle her, so it left us feeling very confident during our time away. We knew Luna was in very good hands. Cindy sent us daily updates and photos and was quick to respond to any inquiries we had during Luna’s stay. Luna doesn’t warm up to strangers easily, but at Cindy’s, she quickly made it her second home so we know she felt comfortable in Cindy’s care. Aside from her great care, she provides a clean and inviting environment with a spacious backyard. We will without hesitation use Cindy’s service again and again. We are so happy we found her!

Cindy was exceptionally attentive to Juniper's needs, and welcome Juniper into her family while she was watching her! We will definitely use Cindy in the future if we have dogsitting needs. She also sent us lots of photos and kept us updated on how the days went on.

I currently work from home as a visual designer freelancing for companies and on my boutique wholesale business. I am able to take breaks throughout the day and give our pets lots of attention. I am also a member at my local pottery studio, which is dog friendly.

Pets

A typical day

We walk in our quiet and walkable neighborhood, where we have a park a few blocks away. This usually happens around noon. In the evening, when our dog has the most energy, I do a thing called "tricks for treats" where we play fetch, catch, rollover, shake, and even play dead, where she is rewarded with treats. If the evenings are nice, I usually take my dog out for another walk,

0 to 15 lbs
Spayed and neutered dogs only
No females in heat
Crate-trained dogs only
Cindy can host up to 1 pet per night
I prefer smaller dogs that get along with other dogs and cats. Please let me know if your dog knows any tricks, has any sleeping preferences or needs any medication.
