Pet care experience

I love dogs of all kinds and ages.

I've had dogs my whole life and have experience taking care of dogs for over 40 years. I have over 30 years experience teaching kindergarten puppy classes. I have successfully trained and showed my dogs in competition obedience and flyball. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and am happy to care for yours. My own dogs at times have had to have medications and special exercise programs after a surgery. My experience also includes teaching people with service dogs how to use their dog after being placed in the home. Unfortunately, I am unable to care for cats.

I am very careful when I'm walking a dog as I am really paranoid about something happening. I will treat your dog like I treat my own.

Cindy was very responsible and attentive in caring for my dog. She was always available to communicate and share updates. My house was in perfect order when I returned. I could tell my dog was perfectly cared for. I would 100% use Cindy again! .

Cindy was an angel! This was our first time booking a pet sitter through Rover. Cindy was professional, attentive and thoughtful in her outreach to us prior to her stay at our home. While she stayed at the house she kept in touch and sent us photos. We came home to a tidy home, relaxed and happy young dogs and a sense of relief at home well the dogs were cared for. We highly recommend Cindy for watching dogs over an extended period away!

Cindy stayed at our house for 4 days with our beagles She was caring and attentive; she sent pictures and updates. And she was a great house guest! The dogs loved being at home and all of the extra attention that came with it. We would definitely have her take care of our pets again and we would recommend her!

Cindy first became acquainted with my rescue dog, Molly, about 10 years ago. She selflessly gave dog training lessons to Molly--beginning when Molly was roughly a one-year-old puppy. Cindy has never ended her lessons. Cindy's on-going lessons have always been my lessons as well. They are lessons about love, acceptance, compassion, patience, empathy, trust, kindness, happiness, humor, caring, and respect.

Schedule

I am usually available as I'm home most of the time. So house sitting with you four baby or babies. Drop in visits aren't a problem. I'd be happy to house sit or do drop in visits for you.

0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
Cindy can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
I need to know if your dog is up to date on vaccinations. I also will not take care of aggressive dogs. Is your dog on any medication that will need to be administered while in my care. I like to have written instructions for each dog that will be in my care whether it's a drop in visit, a stay at my home or while house sitting. Does your pet have seizures? I also need to have your veterinarian information and written permission to have your pet treated should there be an emergency. I just like to be prepared in the off chance that something might happen.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
