I am very attentive and affectionate with the pets in my care, and I’ll do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and maybe just a little spoiled! 😊 I’ve even been accused of paying more attention to my pets than anyone else. I have years of experience training and caring for dogs, which has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding that every dog has a personality all their own. Nine years ago, I lost my best friend, Rosco, my standard-size Yorkshire Terrier, at 16 years old. I still miss him tremendously. One of the ways I’ve chosen to honor the love and companionship he gave me is by spending my spare time caring for other dogs and giving them the same kind of attention and affection that meant so much to Rosco and me. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone you don’t know well. I want you to be able to leave knowing your pet is in caring, attentive hands. I’m very hands-on and love spending plenty of one-on-one time with the animals in my care, whether that means playing, walking, relaxing together, or simply giving them the extra attention they’re accustomed to at home. And you won’t have to wonder how things are going while you’re away! I’ll stay in touch with regular updates, texts, and photos so you can see how your pet is doing and enjoy your time away with greater peace of mind. Your pet won’t simply be “watched.” They’ll be cared for, talked to, loved on, and treated as though they were one of my own. 🐾

This was the first time my dog was away from the family in a long time and we were very worried. Cindy helped take away that worry. This is a high recommendation for her services. Worth every penny. We were in Kansas City for the weekend for a game and had Cindy watch our dog, Opie. She was so wonderful. He was well taken care of and completely spoiled with her. He was a very happy boy when we picked him up.
Cindy watched my dog Margot while I was out of town over a long weekend. It was a last minute ask, and I was so grateful she was able to help out. Cindy was flexible with drop off and pick up times. She sent me pictures and a very detailed update on how Margot was doing. Margot looked so happy with Cindy when I picked her up at the end of the weekend. I would highly recommend Cindy.
We have 2 senior dogs who can’t be left home alone. Cindy was the first person we ever used to watch the dogs and I was nervous about leaving them with a stranger. She put us and the dogs at ease right away. We were only gone a short time but the dogs were both relaxed and sleeping when we got home. We will be using Cindy again!
Cindy is truly an animal lover. She was watching our dog, Murphy, as a puppy, up until his passing 7 years ago. He would practically tear the door down as soon as he saw her car out the window. He was so excited to see her. As soon as she entered inside he would spin around and bark with excitement. She even taught him to sit and stay on command. She walked him and also bathed him when needed . They had a beautiful relationship

I have reached early retirement and would love the company of small, crate- and potty-trained dogs who desire a lot of care, love and attention.

Safety, trust & environment
I live on the first floor of an apartment in a one-bedroom apartment that is a bit small to care for large dogs, so I will offer to keep the smaller dogs for 1-4 days, nights, overnights, or weekends. I am also available to stay in your home.
A typical day
I like to frequent dog parks to allow them to socialize with other animals if that would be acceptable during our time together. Otherwise, I will walk them locally.
