I work part time from home. I work in our main space overlooking the large deck and gated yard. My doggy loves to sleep at my feet or stretch out in the sun. I walk my child and dog(s) to local school for fresh air and exercise in the morning. Then I work in our main space overlooking the large deck and yard. Either an early afternoon walk or a rigorous game of catch or play. My kids (9 and 14) are around most afternoons, providing extra stimulation or cuddles as desired.

Safety is top priority! Your doggy can have free access to the yard if they won’t jump our 4 foot fence. If they have an uncanny desire to jump, they can still be outside on our large deck or have supervised visits in the yard for play and “business”.

I’d prefer to have our dogs meet in advance to check for compatibility. If they can use a doggy door, I have an electric one and a sensor to put on their collar. Also, in the unlikely event that your escape artist gets out, I give them each an air tag for tracking.
A typical day
Morning walk, lounging, afternoon walk and/or big game of catch (in our cul de sac or yard). Cuddles all around. I’m home all day working.
