Please check us out at : wishingcreekfarm.ca We are currently only accepting dogs up to 50 lbs. We also take birds! We have 3 very active female border collies so we know what it means to have to provide plenty of exercise and mental stimulation! My husband has had daschunds, spaniels, and mixed breeds and I have had Border Collies, huskies, labs, horses, cats, goats, chickens, ducks... We use crates and/or gates, as needed to keep the dogs in separate sleeping and eating areas. For walks, I provide a long leash unless/until dogs are comfortable here and I'm confident they have good recall. We are set back from the road and play mostly in the unfenced back field. We now have a half-acre fenced yard (4' fencing) as well. Off-leash time will be games like chuckit, soccer balls, etc... I am comfortable giving oral medications or injections. I can also bring your dog to vet and grooming appointments if needed.

Cindy is amazing. We took a 10 day vacation with some reservations about leaving our Daisy(Great Dane only 5 months) for so long. Cindy had Daisy as a home stay with her own kennel. Daisy had the best time, she was happy, well behaved and looked amazing when we picked her up. Cindy kept us updated with pics, videos and messages. I highly recommend Cindy.
I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog, Maya, received with Cindy! I was looking for someone who could make me feel safe and at ease when leaving my dog, especially since I don’t have family in Ottawa. Cindy went above and beyond her service was excellent, and Maya was clearly comfortable and happy. I’m so grateful to have found someone I can truly trust with my pup. Highly recommend!
Cindy was very sweet and took great care of Monty. I got pictures of his time there and he clearly had lots of fun. I will definitely be coming back. I feel so at ease knowing he played with some friends and came back a happy boy!

Schedule
We are currently at home all day and able to care for your dog(s). We go outside several times a day to walk and play and have potty breaks. We are currently only accepting dogs up to 50 lbs. We also take birds.

We have 2 senior dogs who like to lay around and watch tv when not outside playing and a 3 year old dog who loves to run and play with other dogs. Accommodations are available for your dogs' activity level and preferences.
Pets
A typical day
We go for walks in the back field and play with a ball or chuckit. In spring and summer months there is a small creek in the back for swimming if they like to swim. We have a 1/2 acre fenced yard in the front where we play with balls and flyers. We also provide kiddie pools in season.
