I live a simple life in the woods in the Beaver Bay/Silver Bay area of northeastern Minnesota with my husband and our sweet pooch Luna. Luna is an 11-year-old rescue who has been part of our family for over 8 years. I grew up with dogs and have always had dogs as an adult (I should say they've had me!). I also have 3 sweet grandkitties named Greg, Janet and Billy. I look forward to bonding with your pet(s)! My husband and I have used Rover ourselves, so I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your 4-legged family member in the hands of a human you don’t know. I look forward to spending quality time with your pooch or kitty, while doing whatever I can to ease any nervousness or concerns you may have. I’m mature, responsible, reliable and conscientious. Your pet will be safe and loved.

Cindy has spent half day taking care of my Siberian Husky, an Escape Artist of top eschelon, while we were getting married in BlueFin Bay. Since we were taking pictures on the actual shore alternating between the 2 and 3 of us, Cindy had to crawl over the rocky shore with Honey in tow and manage Honey's anxieties once she got more than 75:feet away from me. It was raining whole day including the drizzling during the ceremony and picture taking but she went everywhere with us. Honey didn't escape for which I am immensely grateful, having known her for 10 years, so this is as good an outcome as one could possibly hope for. Thank you Cindy for alleviating my tremendous anxiety about Honey while getting married!

Cindy did a wonderful job taking care of our three, very different pups while we were out of town for a wedding. She kept us regularly updated with stories and great photos and asked questions when needed. Left our house tidy as well. Our dogs seemed happy to have her company for the weekend :)
She went above and beyond to help my one dog who was so scared! She was amazing we will book again!!!! I highly suggest using this sitter.
Cindy took excellent care of our Senior cat Dempsey. She sent us excellent notes and photos and made us feel comfortable that he was doing just fine while we were away. We have nothing but great things to say about Cindy!

I’m active and like to hike and be outdoors. My schedule is flexible. I’m available for dog walking and dog or cat drop-in visits in and around the Beaver Bay/Silver Bay/Finland area. Let me know how I can help you!

- Let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors that will help make our time together good quality time. What works for positive reinforcement? For dogs: How are they on leash? How do they typically respond to other dogs and external stimuli (e.g., Squirrel!). Do you prefer that they don't greet other dogs or people? For cats: Any special toys or games? Do they like being petted or not so much? Anything you can share about your pet will help me make this a good experience. I'm ready for anything! 😀 We can discuss all this in an initial (free) meet & greet.
