I like to keep your dog as close to the schedule they are typically used too. Dogs will have plenty of supervised playtime in my yard. Chase, wrestling, tug-o-war and frisbee/balls are always on the menu! Daily walks are also important and are a big part of our day. For the dogs who enjoy more leisurely time and don't have the same energy level, we are all about relaxing, belly rubs and just giving them company or a quiet space for them to unwind. Your dog will have a consistent routine that benefits them and allows them to thrive! Please feel free to share any specific requests and needs you may have. My hours for drop off and pickup are as follows: Monday-Friday 7:30am-9:30pm Saturday-Sunday 9:30am- 9:30pm Drop offs and pickup times are by appointment only. This allows me to stay on schedule and meet all of your dog's needs. This also guarantees that you will be the only person at drop off / pickup time, to eliminate a chaotic or stressful transition for your dog and we can go over any necessary details or instructions. I can accomodate last minute requests for stays, but only for dogs that have had a meet and greet first. Once I get to know your dog, I am happy to help and make them a part of our pack.

Safety, trust & environment
For the safety, dogs must be fully vaccinated (this includes DHP-P, Bortadella and Rabies. Canine Influenza and Leptospirosis are strongly preferred). Vaccinations must be done 48 hours in advance of the stay, but Veterinarians do recommend 10-14 days to ensure maximum protection for your dog. Flea control is mandatory. This all helps to ensure the health and welfare of everyone at our home! Your pup must be wearing his/her identification tags and a collar (a collar is preferred over a harness for safety when playing and moving about the house). Please make sure to bring food, medication, a harness for walks (if needed) and treats. I do have a selection of treats for a variety of food allergies, but please bring your own if your dog is picky or needs a specific type. I highly recommend bringing along a comfort from home too, especially for a newbie! A bed, blanket, T-shirt of yours or any object that will help your dog adjust to a new environment. Dogs will be sleeping how they are used too! If your dog sleeps in bed with you, my teenage boys are all about it! Otherwise, they will sleep in my room on their own dog beds or crates, based on your wishes. It's a fun sleepover for all! Feeding time is very important. All dogs are fed in separate areas to avoid sharing meals, food aggression or territorial issues. Although, this is my full-time job and in our family of 4, usually there is someone home with the pack, we do have to run out at times. Errands, school pickup, sports practice, etc might have us gone for a short time. Dogs will not remain together while unattended. If your dog is comfortable in a crate, they will be crated at this time. If not, a dog pen or separate room for them to relax in will be provided. If your dog has extreme separation anxiety and can't be left for short periods of time, this may not be the right fit for you.

Information Cindy K. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of any special needs, allergies or medical issues that will need extra attention. If your pup has any separation anxiety, food or toy aggression that would also be important to note. We work with each dog to make their stay a vacation for them too! We focus on building trust, confidence and safe environment for all of our guests, so the more details we have about your companion, the better. Setting up a meet and greet in advance is mandatory and is a fabulous opportunity to make sure that we are the right fit for each other.
A typical day
We spend a lot of time outdoors, cuddling, walks and play (with loads of toy options)! When your dog stays at our home, daycare visitors will get 1-2 long walks and boarders will go on 2 to 3 walks a day (of course based on age and abilities of the dog), plus we have a fully fenced in yard with beautiful turf and a dog run. Dogs will never be outside unsupervised. We do spend the majority of the day enjoying the sunshine, but will take rest periods for them to unwind, snuggle and get some extra belly rubs! This time is really great for bonding too! I always share photos and videos of all of your pup's adventures with their new friends!

Pet care experience
Hi and thank you for finding me! And before you read on all about me, please note that although I absolutely adore dogs of ALL sizes, I only take dogs up to 50lbs in my home for boarding. I have a strict adherence to pick up and drop off hours (listed under Availability), so that I respect my neighbors wishes and they remain happy and bark free during certain hours. Thank you for understanding! I'm Cindy and I have had dogs in my life for more than 25 years. My ongoing passion for animals allowed me to leave the Television Industry and spend time doing what I love the most. This is now my full-time job! I am dedicated to providing your pup with a warm and welcoming home filled with love, play, attention and care. While I have been a dog walker/boarder for another company, I have also rescued, fostered and helped large rescue groups remove dogs from horrible hoarding situations. I am also excited to announce that I am 80% of the way to my dog training certification! I have taken classes in canine acupressure and I love bonding with new animals and understanding all of their different personalities that makes them so unique. Your pup will become an integral part of our family and we love to have them back and watch them grow for years to come. Walks, playtime and snuggling takes up the majority of our day. However, if your dog needs some quiet time, that is always available too. I pride myself on the highest level of safety, comfort, love and an overall enjoyable experience for your dog. I only accept potty trained dogs that are child and dog friendly over 1 year of age.I am a mom to my own Labrador/Beagle/Spaniel rescue and my hubby and I have 2 dog-obsessed kids. My teen boys have grown up being surrounded by dogs, and they have become quite the caregivers too! We are excited to welcome you and your dog(s) to our extended family.
Reviews

Cindy was great. Punctual, caring and knowledgeable.

Great with Bear and super reliable! Such a huge help while I was recovering from my ankle injury. I will definitely book again!

Thank you so much for opening your doors for Lucy and Ayden. They had a great time and it took a load off of my shoulders. Cindy has a great space indood and outdoor. Dropping the pups off in the morning they were excited to be there

We’re so happy to have found Cindy- she is absolutely incredible. She is super communicative, has an awesome setup for pups, and is just the best with Tony. Thank you for everything!
