Safety, trust & environment

I know how important it is for clients to feel that their pets are safe while they're gone. Making sure indoor cats don't get out the doors (and outdoor cats don't get in), making sure that they only get the food and treats they are supposed to eat (and the amounts), are tantamount to what I consider to be appropriate care. I know cats move toward people in their own time, so calm energy and respecting space is critical. Their environment will change as little as possible while you're gone. I know how to use microchip feeders and some of the timed feeders as well because my own cats have different food allergies and different medications as well.

Information Cindy J. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know what types of medications your cat is on and any behaviors I should watch for that will help keep your feline healthy, safe and happy while in my care.

A typical day

A typical day with your cat(s) is exactly what you order. Feeding, litterbox cleaning, Barf check around the house, swapping out toys or general enrichment is done on a daily basis. Other things can be included to tailor the visit to meet your cat's specific needs...just ask!

Cat care experience

I'm an experienced elder with years of experience with cats. I know how important it is to find a true cat person to take care of your felines, as they require a different energy from humans. I have elderly cats at home that I have had since they were kittens. I have experience with feral kitties, strays, outdoor and indoor felines. I have a keen eye for behavior changes and have given all sorts of medications to my own cats (including asthma medications), so if you have one of these special creatures, feel free to reach out to see if I'm a good fit for your cat and their individual needs. Play? ✅ Just petting? ✅ Word buttons? ✅ Just sitting and talking and not invading their space? ✅ If it's cats, I can usually do it! Litter box contents reported out if requested. Photos sent daily (if they consent of course!) Barf inspection of your home done daily (because hey, cats.) Bedding refreshed if needed. Other things? Just ask to see if it's in my repertoire of skills. Morning visits are usually limited to weekends due to my FT work schedule, but if you need those as well, let me know and we'll see if there's something we can work out. About Myself: I am in my 60s and take pet ownership seriously. I have one cat who is currently on hospice care (Beastley) and another that is medically fragile (Shay). I also have a freeloader (Hammy) that comes and goes as he pleases, but "helps" me garden and sleeps in my garage. I work full time at a job I love and spend free time doing all sorts of things.

Cindy is the most dedicated animal lover I know. She will do anything for her cats and will treat your cats like her own. On her daily walks, she will take cookies for the neighbors cats (with permission of course). She has made friends with all the cats in her community and knows them by name. Her own pets are medically complex so she is well equipped to take care of a pet with complex needs be it an indoor or outdoor animal. Cindy is respectful and thoughtful about entering other people's spaces and will leave everything as requested.

Cindy is a warm and caring person. She is 100% a cat lover. She is very experienced in senior cat care including giving medications. She is very playful for the younger cats as well as being there for just a cuddle. I'm sure you will be very pleased with her services.
