Amenities such as dog beds, toys, and high-quality treats are included with your stay. Our doggy clients will love having access to our fenced backyard through a doggy door, allowing for easy outdoor playtime and potty breaks. Our cat clients have their own dedicated room with a water fountain, climbing tree, wall climbing shelves, hideouts, and toys. We provide filtered water to all our clients, and our home is kept clean and sanitized, with toys and bedding washed regularly. Lastly, I send daily photo updates so you'll never have to wonder how your pet is doing. 🎓Training & Socialization With my background in animal rescue, I strongly believe in the importance of consistent training and socialization. If you have specific socialization/training goals in mind, I'm happy to work with your pet to progress towards those goals faster. 👤Experience I have been petsitting since 2019 but have been involved with animals since way before then: - I volunteered at the Animal Foundation as dog walker and pet foster parent from 2010 until 2016, where I handled dogs ranging from shy Chihuahuas to outgoing Great Danes. In college, I volunteered with the Silver State Service Dogs organization which gave me additional experience in dog behavior and training. My own dog whom I raised since puppyhood was a therapy dog and knew various fun tricks, including closing doors, barking at different volumes, and fetching her leash. - My home has welcomed numerous foster kittens and cats since 2015, so I have worked with cats across a range of temperaments and ages. While my own cat is outgoing, harness-trained, and enjoys interactive play, I am also experienced with nervous, skittish cats. My dedicated cat room allows every cat to go at their own pace.
