Happy Dogs Stay Here!

I am the person my friends turn to when they have a behavior problem with their dogs, although I am a pet sitter, not a trainer. I have an affinity with dogs. I love to read their expressions and body language to understand their moods. I am retired and stay at home almost always. I have lots and lots of time for the dogs that are entrusted to my care. I have about 2 acres, fenced. I have 3 couches in the living room where me and dogs can get comfortable. I let dogs in, I let dogs out. We spend good weather outside.

Cindy was great with my dog. She is an owner surrendered rescue that was and brought up from Arkansas. As a result, she’s very nervous of new situations and the first night may have thought she’d been re-homed again. But Cindy was very attentive to her need and got her over her anxiety. By the next morning Cindy sent me a picture of my fur baby napping in her favorite comfy position and I knew she was a happy camper. She even barked when we knocked on the door to pick her up like it was her house. I will definitely call upon Cindy again if ever I need to leave town.

Cindy was amazing. All the reviews I read stated that she was very knowledgeable and I found that to be true. She sent updates, kept up with Katze's meds and made sure she ate (which she doesn't like to do while boarding). Katze came back happy and healthy and well cared for.

Cindy always takes great care for our two dogs. She's even helped pick the dogs up and drop them off which helps with our busy schedules. I give her my highest recommendation.

The only thing I can say is Cindy is the dog whisperer! I don’t trust my babies with many people but she is the best. She takes care of my dogs like they are her own and has even helped me with training and other issues. I recommended her to anyone that asks. You can rest easy if your puppies are with Cindy!

Cindy is truly a dog whisperer. She was our go to person to care for our dogs when we traveled and she went above and beyond. They loved being with her and enjoyed the ability to enjoy the outdoors in her large fenced in yard. She was able easily to manage medications for our dog who had seizures. On our last trip to see our children, our 12 year old Doberman was got terrible pancreatitis and she let us know right away and took her in to our vet and was with her when they laid her to rest. It was heartbreaking to lose her while we were away and it was eased greatly by her tremendous love and care for our beloved pets. I offer my highest recommendation for Cindy as a host

Safety, trust & environment

I have a huge fenced yard and 2 resident dogs. There is lots to explore here. Sometimes we all just lay out in the sun and soak up the rays.

Pets

A typical day

I do not take boarding dogs out on a leash. I have lots of room for them to run and play off leash in my fenced yard. Usually, at least one of the dogs will want to go out around 6am...so we all go out. Especially with dogs that have not known each other, and are new to the place, I go out to observe their interactions and try to discern any rivalry or aggression between dogs. 90% of the time, dogs get along, but I like to be alert to any tension. I pick up poop and refresh water. That is a constant all day, every day. I throw sticks and balls. Dogs play and play. On the hottest days, we will go in and enjoy the AC.
