Growing up with dogs, I’ve spent my whole life around animals and truly understand how much love and care they need. My family’s senior dog is now 16, and caring for him has taught me a lot about patience, gentle handling, and recognizing the needs of older pets. Three years ago, I adopted my own dog as a puppy, so I’ve gone through all stages of dog care—from potty training and crate training to socialization and leash manners. I’ve also volunteered and fostered at local shelters, helping dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments adjust to home life and find forever families. Friends, neighbors, and family regularly trust me to look after their pets, knowing I’m attentive, responsible, and treat every pet like my own.

My home is pet-friendly, clean, and comfortable, with plenty of room to play and relax. I also have a small fenced-in backyard with a secure 6-foot fence — perfect for safe outdoor time, potty breaks, or a little sunshine and sniffing around. When caring for pets in their home, I maintain a similar routine tailored to their preference. Whether your pet stays with me or I come to your home, I always put safety first, communicate often, and make sure they feel loved and cared for every step of the way.

I hired Cindy for 2 drop-in visits for my 2 dogs: a 14 y.o. & a 2 y.o. lab mix, both of whom are edgy around strangers. Cindy was on-time with all visits (including a meet-and-greet prior), communicated clearly in person and by text, and followed the instructions. She also provided pictures & brief updates at each check-in. Despite my senior dog being a cranky, old fart around strangers, Cindy improvised well when Ms. Crankypants barked at her and wouldn't cooperate about eating in her designated area, ensuring that the dogs remained safely separated during feeds. Cindy also scooped the poop, so I didn't have to when I got home. I recommend Cindy and plan to call on her again myself.
