Hi! My name is Cindy! I have had some type of animal in my home my entire life. My dog Gracie was apart of our family for 13 years. I am a teacher at an environmental school who is caring, compassionate, reliable and has a love for animals. I am home full time most holidays and all summer. I would love to keep your dog safe, happy, entertained, healthy and well cared for while you are away. I have a nice fenced in yard and will walk and will play with your dog. I have a son in college that also lives with me. While you are on your vacation, your dog will be on theirs! The dogs I watch are treated like a part of our family.

Cindy was great and my dogs seemed to love it there! We received pictures every day and they were obviously very comfortable with her since each day one of them (there are 2) was on her lap. Her regular communication was very reassuring. We will definitely book her again.

I appreciate Cindy for taking care of my dog last week. However, I noticed my dog seemed anxious and not happy during the stay. Cindy might not have had much experience with Italian Greyhounds, and the level of attention needed wasn’t quite met. My dog needs more companionship and activities, which seemed lacking. It took a while to readjust once back home.

Schedule
I currently teach during the day, but I am off holidays, weekends and summer. However, I have a son going to college at UT living with me. He is often home with the dogs or only out for shorter periods of time.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced yard, but always go out with the dogs to ensure safety. In warmer weather, we play outside and we often just relax outside as well. (If raining, I watch at the window while they are out.) I try to follow your routines to keep them comfortable. If they are crated at home, I can crate them at my house. If free roaming at home, they can free roam here.
A typical day
I try to follow you dogs normal routines including walks- weather permitting. We have a small pond near the house that I like to walk to as well. I play with them inside and out. I have some toys, but please bring their favorite toys so we can play what they enjoy!
