Dogs, cats, birds, you name it! I have taken care of my and other people’s pets for 5+ years in San Diego and the Bay Area. I started off as a dog owner, being in charge of training, feeding, walking, and giving love and attention. Now, I have a sweet 7 year old black cat who I adore and is spoiled with attention. My 5+ years of experience dog/cat (and bird!) sitting and dog walking for other people’s pets have showed me that no two pets are the same and each need to be taken care of with tailored rules and instructions. After I learn the best method to walk, run with, and play with specific pets, the real fun can start! I always make sure to give the pets I am sitting as much care, love, and attention as I would want sitters to do with mine. I love when customers have lists and I value communication, timeliness, and kindness.

Safety, trust & environment
As I enter my or clients homes, I make sure to open the door slowly, making sure pets can’t run out the door before being leashed. I always assess the pet, make sure they are safe first, and then proceed with the instructions. I value safety and trust between myself and the pets. When leaving the house, I always double check that the door is closed and locked. When possible, I send picture updates of the pets to the clients!

Cindy took care of my cat when I was away for a week. She is fantastic and provided exceptional care and took care of my cat really well. She kept me informed with pictures and made sure my cat was fed. I'd get Cindy's help next time and I highly recommend her for your pet caring needs.
Cindy filled a second dog walking request for me last minute, and responded quickly that she could do it. The rover card described how the dogs behaved, how many treats they got, the mood of the walk, and included cute photos. The pups didn’t bark upon seeing her the second time, which is a great sign they’re comfortable with her. I’m grateful for her help in a pinch. Cindy is reliable and does a good job with the pups - she thinks about how to make them happy.
Cindy responded to a last minute request for dog walking and really saved the day. She offered to do a meet-and-greet the same day as the request, which was very generous. She asked questions about their care and you can tell she’s detail-oriented and careful. She was on time with the walks and sent photos, and the drop-by card. Thanks, Cindy!
Cindy was awesome. Loved the pictures and the detailed Rover card - our puppy Bingo (8.5 months) seemed to have a great time with her! Would definitely book again :)

Schedule
I am available to care for pets almost any time and day. I prioritize safety, and would prefer to walk dogs during sunlight hours, but can make exceptions for returning dogs.
