I'm currently an animal control officer for the city with a life long passion for animals. I have a vast array of experience with all species with my primary focus being on dogs, cats and equines. I have 3+ years of experience working in a mixed animal veterinary practice of 7 doctors and have maintained relationships with those veterinarians and technicians which gives me experience caring for animals in a medical capacity. This makes things like caring for medically complex furry friends, geriatric pets & giving medications, including injectables a breeze. I have 10+ years caring for horses and other large animals both personally and professionally. I managed a horse boarding facility in OR for 3+ years and then proceeded to work under a well known trainer.

I take pride in keeping your pets safe while they are in my care! Their safety and comfort is my #1 priority when petsitting. I pay close attention to body language and how your pets are communicating with me using their own signals to make them as comfortable as possible. I am happy to stay at your home to help facilitate this.

As a veterinarian, I’m very particular about who takes care of my pets. I was really happy with Cierra as my Pet Sitter. She kept in contact and sent pictures. She has a long history in animal related fields- from veterinary technician to animal control officer, so I felt very confident in her ability to properly take care of my pets. When I arrived home, all the animals were happy, the house was in good shape, and I will definitely be using her as my sitter in the future.

Recommended! Cierra was prompt in response, reliable, and attentive. It was clear my doggie became quite fond of her. The one time dose medication (HartGard) was administered as I asked & household & plant care appeared to be tended to as instructed. The home was as clean as when we left, if not cleaner and our dog was happy & healthy. Don’t hesitate to book Cierra for house sitting.
We love when Cierra takes care of our dogs because we know they will be safe and in good hands! She did a great job with her home visits while we were gone for the day. One of our dogs is very nervous and scared of anyone but us and Cierra was very patient with him and made sure he had everything he needed. Thanks Cierra! :)

Schedule
My work is fairly flexible making potty breaks easy, although I do work 40 hours a week. I am more than willing to stay over and care for your pets as it they were my own.
