Ciara was great with our dog from our initial meeting and was communicative even after pick up when I had additional questions. She sent a photo update each day. Our high maintenance pug felt at home at Ciara’s place.

Schedule
My work in mental health with teenagers is mostly remote (with occasional in-person appointments in Denver) so I have a lot of flexibility for drop-in visits, daytime check-ins, and overnight stays.

Safety, trust & environment
My apartment is small, so I can comfortably board small to medium dogs there — but I'm happy to stay overnight at your home for larger breeds. I don't have a yard, but I live right by Cheesman Park, which makes for great walks and exercise.
A typical day
Dogs: Mornings start with a potty break and a walk to stretch their legs and sniff out the day. From there I tailor the pace to your pup - extra playtime and fetch for the high-energy ones, cuddles and toys for the homebodies. Midday brings another potty break and check-in, and evenings wind down with a final walk, dinner, and plenty of affection. Cats: Cats get a quieter, independent rhythm. I handle feeding, fresh water, and litter on schedule, and brushing if they enjoy it. Some cats want lap time, others prefer to watch from a distance - I follow their lead. Either way, I'll always check in to make sure they seem comfortable and happy before I head out.

- It’s important for me to know if they have any special needs, medications, or triggers. Their feeding schedule and sleep schedule. I also love knowing your pet's personality and quirks ahead of time, so I can make them feel as comfortable as possible from day one!
