I cant speak highly enough of Ciara. We got loads of updates how our dog was getting on and she was brought for plenty of walks. We even see a difference in the pup since she stayed with Ciara. I would highly recommend! Rob

Schedule

Since I’m currently on a career break, I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pet. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine as I am home throughout the day and able to provide consistent attention, walks, playtime, and companionship. I’m available for doggy day care and boarding during the week, fully available all day on weekends for dog walking, and also available on some weekday evenings. Your pet would receive lots of care, supervision, and affection as part of my everyday schedule.

Safety, trust & environment

I care for pets in my home as if they were my own. I have a fully fenced-in back yard where dogs can safely play and exercise under supervision. Inside the home, they’ll have a comfortable, calm environment with plenty of attention, affection, and regular toilet breaks. I can also crate a dog if needed, whether that’s part of their usual routine, for overnight sleeping, or for short periods to help them feel secure. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely regarding feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any special requirements to make sure your pet feels happy, safe, and at home.

A typical day

I love making sure the pets I care for have plenty of fun and stimulation! We spend time playing games like fetch, tug-of-war, and interactive toy play to keep them active and engaged. In my fenced-in back yard, they can safely run around and burn off energy. I also enjoy going on regular walks, exploring new smells, and giving them lots of one-on-one attention. For more relaxed pets, I’m happy to include cuddle time, gentle play, or enrichment activities like puzzle toys to keep their minds busy. I always tailor activities to each pet’s age, energy level, and personality so they have a fun and enjoyable stay.

Before caring for any pet, it’s important for me to know about their routine, temperament, and any specific needs. This includes feeding schedules, dietary requirements, medical conditions, medications, allergies, and whether they’re comfortable around other dogs or new environments. I also like to know about their exercise needs, training level and whether they’re crate-trained. Any information about fears (for example loud noises), behavioural quirks, or things that help them settle in is really helpful too. The more I know in advance, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy while in my care.
