🐾 Experienced & Passionate Dog Carer 💕 I currently run my own dog walking & boarding business where I care for dogs of all ages, breeds, personalities and energy levels. My day-to-day work involves group walks, solo walks, daycare, boarding, puppy care, enrichment, training support and helping dogs feel safe, settled and confident in my care. I’ve worked with dogs for many years across a wide range of settings, from professional doggy daycares and busy pack environments to rescue centres, grooming salons and private care. My experience includes working as a Doggie Day Care Assistant with Hackney Hounds and Canis in the City, as well as previous roles with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, Purplebone Dog Groomers, Pet Sanctuary and other dog-focused businesses. I’m also currently studying for my Level 4 Diploma in Canine Behaviour, which allows me to continually develop my understanding of dog communication, body language, behaviour and individual needs. For me, caring for dogs is much more than simply keeping them company — I want every dog to feel comfortable, understood, stimulated and genuinely happy while they’re with me. 🐶❤️

We had a wonderful 4-day pet-sitting experience with Ciara😀 Communication was always quick and professional, which gave us real peace of mind. Ciara was amazing with Toby, he definitely enjoyed himself with the experience and care Ciara provided. The added daily updates showed how much he truly enjoyed himself, I knew he was in great hands! Would definitely book again!!
I’m pretty sure Nova would have happily stayed longer! I loved getting fun photos and videos everyday. It’s clear that Ciara has a special touch with dogs. Nothing better than knowing your fur baby is being well cared for.
Ciara was amazing with our dog Edie who boarded for 5 nights. Ciara sent constant updates and it was a joy to see my pup having so much fun over the course of the week. Will definitely book with Ciara again x

Dogs have been a huge part of my life for years, and caring for them is what I do full-time. I’ve been working with dogs professionally for many years and now run my own dog walking, daycare and boarding business, so my days naturally revolve around them! 🐶❤️ I’m used to having dogs as part of my everyday routine and planning my day around their walks, meals, playtime, enrichment and, just as importantly, their rest. I love getting to know each dog’s individual personality and making sure they feel happy, comfortable and at home while they’re with me. Because this is my full-time job, I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the dogs in my care rather than fitting pet care around another job. My routine is flexible, but always structured around making sure every dog gets the care, exercise and attention they need. I genuinely love what I do, and I think dogs can tell when they’re being cared for by someone who really enjoys having them around! 🐾💕

The safety and wellbeing of every dog in my care is always my priority. 🐾❤️ I treat every dog as an individual and take the time to understand their personality, routine, behaviour, likes and dislikes before caring for them. I’m very aware of dog body language and interactions, and I’m studying towards my Level 4 Diploma in Canine Behaviour, which has given me an even deeper understanding of how dogs communicate and what they need to feel safe and comfortable. For daycare and boarding, I provide a calm, home-from-home environment where dogs can relax, play, explore and get plenty of rest. I carefully consider which dogs are suitable to socialise together and never force interactions. Dogs are supervised closely, with their own space available when they need some quiet time. I follow owners’ instructions closely when it comes to feeding, medication, routines and any individual needs, and I’m always happy to send regular updates and photos so you know how your dog is getting on. When caring for a dog in their own home, I respect their familiar environment and routine and make sure they receive the same level of care, attention and patience I would give my own dogs. Ultimately, I want every dog to feel safe, settled, understood and genuinely happy while they’re with me. 🐶💕
A typical day
🐾 A typical day with me Morning 🌅 Walks, toilet breaks and breakfast where required. I like to start the day with some exercise and enrichment before settling down for a little downtime. Late morning / lunchtime ☀️ Big adventure group walks in Hampstead Heath, playtime, training games or enrichment depending on each dog’s individual needs. Social dogs may enjoy time with other friendly dogs, while dogs who prefer their own space can have a quieter experience. Afternoon 🌿 Rest time after a big exciting walk! I make sure dogs have time to switch off too — rest is just as important as exercise! Evening 🌙 Dinner, toilet breaks, cuddles and a final walk before settling down for the night. Every dog’s routine is adapted around their normal schedule, so I’ll always follow your instructions as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and settled. 📸 Throughout their stay: regular photos and pupdates, so you can see what your dog has been getting up to!

- The more I know about your dog, the better I can care for them! 🐾❤️ Before their stay or booking, I’d love to know about their personality, usual routine, likes and dislikes, energy levels and anything that helps them feel comfortable and settled. Please let me know about any behaviours or quirks I should be aware of, including nervousness, reactivity, resource guarding, separation anxiety, recall, interactions with other dogs or anything they may find difficult. There’s absolutely no judgement — I’d much rather know in advance so I can make sure your dog has the right support and a positive experience. It’s also really important for me to know about feeding routines, allergies, medications, health considerations, toileting habits and any specific instructions you normally follow at home. Every dog is different, and these little details make a big difference. The more I understand about your dog beforehand, the easier it is for me to make them feel safe, comfortable and at home from day one. 🐶💕
