During the fall semester, I’m on the go between classes but have several blocks of downtime throughout the day, giving me plenty of flexibility for walks, drop-in visits, feedings, and check-ins. My schedule allows me to be available mornings, afternoons, evenings, and many weekends. Because I plan my days carefully, I can provide reliable, consistent care and make sure pets get the attention, exercise, and companionship they need while their owners are away.

I provide attentive, dependable care tailored to each pet’s routine and needs. At home, my dog is well cared for daily with the help of my younger brother, ensuring he receives regular feeding, fresh water, exercise, and attention. In clients’ homes, I offer drop-in visits, feedings, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship while owners are away. I make it a priority to follow all care instructions closely and keep pets comfortable in their familiar environment. For overnight stays, I not only care for the pets but also help keep the home tidy by cleaning up after myself, maintaining pet areas, and treating the home with the same respect I would my own. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind knowing their pets and home are in good hands.

Before our booking, I ask that you let me know as much as possible about your pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs. Please share their feeding schedule, potty routine, favorite activities, commands they know, medications, allergies, medical conditions, fears or anxieties (such as thunderstorms or fireworks), and any behavioral concerns like aggression, resource guarding, separation anxiety, or escaping. I’d also appreciate knowing how they interact with other people, children, and animals, where their supplies are located, who to contact in case of an emergency, and the name of their veterinarian. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away.
A typical day
I love keeping dogs mentally and physically engaged while they’re in the comfort of their own home. Depending on their personality and energy level, we can play games like fetch, tug-of-war, hide-and-seek with treats or toys, puzzle games, and scent work. I also enjoy practicing basic commands with positive reinforcement, providing enrichment through lick mats or snuffle mats (if available), and making sure they get plenty of affection, playtime, and relaxation throughout the day.

Chynna is such an amazing sitter! All 3 of my dogs love her! She’s very attentive and playful and I’ve been letting her pet sit for me for about 3 years now. She has considered family at this point! She also cleans and picks up without us having to ask her. I’d recommend her to anyone!
