"Dog Whisperer" - I'm very lucky to have been called that by more than a few.. I've been a dog lover my entire life! I love them all and they seem to like - and more importantly, trust - me a lot, too! I grew up with Old English Sheep Dogs, Poodles, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Dalmatians, PIt-Bul/ Lab mixes (or as I called them, "PLABS") and of course good old fashion, run of the mill Heinz-57s! As I kid, on the way home from school, I would purposely walk out of the way, just to say hello to several of the pet dogs along the way. As an adult, I spent several years volunteering for a well known local no-kill shelter back when they were actually located in the Strip District.......until my career and "Corporate America" began to take a greater priority. Now, I am newly retired with lots of free time on my hands - and I can't wait for my calendar to be filled with dog walks and play time versus conference calls and business meetings.
