Me and my wife are both quite outdoorsy people. Most of the dog behavior issues are from excessive energy. So I believe all tired dogs are good dogs. We hike a lot as we had a border collie for 15 years. Training is also important. I believe all dogs can be trained. We just have to be consistent with it. Doing bit by bit everyday.

My dog has had a great time being looked after by Chuck and Kate. They are both kind and great with any required updates and photos.
Thanks again for looking after Todd! We received regular updates and photos throughout our trip and Todd seemed to have a lovely time with everyone. Chuck was happy to give him some eye drops as well which we really appreciated. Todd came back happy and tired! Would definitely recommend!

Chuck and Kate are two of the nicest people I know, and they show nothing but love and care for their animals. If ever I needed my pet looked after, they’d be the first people I’d ask.

I can highly recommend Chuck. This was the first time leaving my dog and I was a bit nervous. But everything went so smoothly. Chuck clearly loves dogs. We were kept well-informed. Gigi, our dog, was happy and calm when we collected her. We now have no hesitation in leaving Gigi under the care of Chuck

Schedule
I’m currently working from home. So my hours are based on my puppy’s schedule. Feeding her 8am in the morning and then walk her right after. Bathroom breaks every couple of hours if we’re not out and about, Last walk of the day at 10:30pm before everyone in the house goes to bed. We found her better behave as we stick to the schedule as much as we can.

A typical day
Besides the first and last walks of the day, we try to fit activities throughout the day to keep my puppy occupied. Probably 3 hikes in a week and going out for lunch or coffee the rest of the week. She’s the most friendliest dog I’ve ever seen towards both humans and dogs.
