Hi there! I'm Christy, an animal-lover to my core! I have been doing dog sitting both on and off Rover for the last 3 years and aim to bring peace to both pets and their pawrents through affordable petcare (LEARN MORE ⬇️) 🦴 ABOUT US I am lucky to work from home alongside my partner, Miles. We started off dog-sitting for my neighbor and decided to move over to Rover! Since I love dogs and have extra time, I want to spend more time around dogs and help out pet owners in my community! As 2 people who both work from home, your pet will always have constant supervision, as well as constant communication for you! Our apartment is dog-friendly, and your pet will have a safe and fun time. 🐕 EXPERIENCE We have been doing dog sitting on Rover and outside of Rover for 3 years and I also have my own dog, Roo. Throughout my childhood I have had multiple dogs, including a senior lhasa apso mix named Iroh! I’ve loved dogs since I was a kid, and naturally have spent a lot of time researching dogs, behavior and training. Now I am able to apply my own expertise to not only my own dogs but to yours as well! 🐾 COMMUNICATION IS KEY As a fellow dog owner, I empathize with the stress of being away from your dog, so I will always make sure you are updated so that you can rest assured your pet is in good hands. We are thankful for your trust in us to care for your special family member, and hope to ease your mind with constant communication and updates! I asked Christy and Miles to watch my poodle for a few days while I was on a trip, and they were excellent! They care a lot about the dog's comfort and provided updates throughout the stay so I didn't have to worry :)
I couldn’t be happier with Christy and Miles' care for my doggo, Jack. They were absolutely amazing, and treated him just like their own 🫶 . Christy was highly responsive and made sure to understand all of Jack's needs and information before watching him. During his time there, they sent me daily updates of Jack's with tons of pictures!! Seeing him happy and doing well in all of the pics helped me enjoy my trip more, since I was rlly missed him while I was away. I especially appreciated how thoughtful Christy was with the details, keeping me updated on everything from walks, meals, and midday naps. 🐶🐶❤️ He also got along great with their dog, Roo, and I was also relieved he had a little friend to keep him company. I highly recommend Christy and Miles, to anyone looking for loving, responsible, and energetic dog sitters. They are super responsive, clearly care about dogs, and go above and beyond for owners. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for their next dog-sitter!!

Schedule
As a work from home employee with a dog of my own, pet care is already well integrated into my routine! I am great at keeping a consistent schedule to make sure pets are always getting enough stimulation, play time, and potty breaks. With my full-time work from home availability, your fur baby will always have constant supervision within a safe home.

We live next to three parks, so your pet will always be able to play outdoors or go for a potty break! With a pet of our own, we’ve made sure to keep this household dog-proof. Additionally, we are two people working from home, so your pet is always under safe and constant supervision. We will make sure to always keep your pet as comfortable as they can be, so that they feel our home is as their own. I am always receptive to dogs' behaviors and body language, so I will always be able to provide attentive care to ensure your dog is always comfortable and happy!

A typical day
Days will always begin with a stroll to the park.I love letting my own dog sniff around the neighborhood because it provides great stimulation and they are usually tired out by the time I sit at my desk to work. Since I work from home, your pet will always be under safe and close supervision. They are able to rest on the couch or pick something out from the toy box! With a pet of my own, I also love to keep my pet stimulated with special activities and toys that work on different areas of their brain. After I clock out, it’s time for a long walk around the neighborhood or a car ride to the dog park to get some energy out before dinner time!

- We have a spayed female chihuahua-rat terrier named Roo. She gets along with other dogs and has a calm temperament. Let me know if you have any concerns, and can work together to make sure your doggo is in the best comfortable environment! Let me know if your dog has any favorite types of toys, foods, snacks, or treats. I would love to make them feel at home by giving them a special treat!
