I love animals of all kinds. I've had dogs and frogs and I'd love to take care of any critter. There is a special place in my heart for seniors and special needs. I grew up with 2 black labs and helped tend to their various health conditions as well as their needs when they got older. I had my own dog (85 lb black lab) for 14 1/2 years and he had an array of issues over the years - Parvo, 2 hip surgeries, and so much more. His back legs stopped working the last 3 1/2 years of his life so I was his full-time caretaker. Getting him up and down, constantly cleaning up potty and poo accidents, switching out pads and keeping him clean. But most important was to keep him stimulated, happy, and help him live his best life with the new normal he was dealt. I have extensive experience with caring for dogs that need special attention, have given meds, injections, expressed bladder, and more.

Christy did a great job looking after my older dog who's reactive with other dogs. She's fostered dogs before and watches dogs regularly so she can handle a variety of personalities and needs.
Very happy with her watching Charlie, we had a worry-free day. She sent lots of pictures and we could tell he was happy with her!
We were visiting from out of town for a graduation, and our 1 year old Aussiedoodle couldn't be left alone in the hotel because of separation anxiety. Christy accepted our request last minute which we were so grateful for. Christy and her husband were so welcoming to us and our pup. She sent updates with pictures which helped us be at ease as this was our first time having a pet sitter. They did everything to try and help her be busy so she didn't have so much anxiety. I highly recommend Christy!
We have used Christy several times she is wonderful with our pets she goes above and beyond we will continue using her.
Christy watched our fur babies during the holiday, November 27 - November 30, 2024. She always arrived on time, provided pictures/video and text updates about our babies. Christy is very patient, caring and supportive of our senior fur baby in addition to providing the care needed for our energetic fur baby. Christy is the best. We will continue to look for Christy's assistance in caring for our babies in the future.
Christy was very responsive and worked with my changing schedule. My very energetic dog came back tired and happy. Highly recommend.

Schedule
I currently work outside of the home Monday - Friday 8-5. I can be home at lunch time for 30 minutes each of those days to play and give snuggles. Weekends are hit-and-miss for availability.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet would be free to roam my home unless you'd prefer they be more contained. I have a large backyard with a 4ft chain link fence. If your dog is a jumper or dog aggressive I'll keep them on a leash when we go outback. We will walk and run around to make sure they still get plenty of outside time. I'm happy to follow your every instruction and of course give lots of lovies.
A typical day
We will play inside and in the backyard and I'll help them find a cozy spot to relax. I'll give them lots of attention and cuddles too of course.
