I grew up with animals of all sorts in rural Oregon. I have owned dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, pigs, cows and sheep. I enjoy all animals. I am willing to host dogs of all ages that are potty trained.

Christy did a great job watching my dog when I had a last minute work trip. She was super friendly and kind, allowing my dog to chew up stuffed animals that she had for her rover guests. My dog was tired and content when I picked her up, so I know she was well taken care of.

Christy did an excellent job with my dog while I was traveling for the holidays. She was attentive and sent updates/pictures letting me know how things were going. My dog is a well behaved dog, but she is a rescue, and with rescues comes certain triggers that require a higher level of awareness. It was clear to me at the meet and greet that Christy understood how to keep my dog at ease and what was needed to ensure Mae’s comfort. I was able to leave without any doubt that my pooch would be in good hands while I was away. I couldn’t recommend Christy enough to watch your pup, and I will definitely be reaching back out to her when I need a sitter!
Christy and my dog bonded right away at our meet and greet and her spot was wonderful for my picky dog! This was the first timey dog and I had been apart since I adopted him 3 years ago and I was nervous but she was great about checking in but didn’t overdo updates, which gave me peace of mind and freedom on my vacation. When she dropped off my dog, he was obviously very enamored with her and genuinely seemed happy. I’ll definitely use her again in the future and recommend her to anyone with an axioms rescue. Also, the pics she sent were so cute!!
Christy was absolutely amazing!!! She took incredible care of Nellie. Our dog is an active girl and she took nellie to the park, played fetch/kickball with her in the backyard, and helped her to get all of her energy out on walks. Not only did I have full confidence in Christy's warmth and care for Nellie, she was responsive, provided pictures of her while we were gone, and our house was in outstanding condition when we returned. Will be using her again!
We had such an amazing experience with Christy! She was incredibly attentive, caring, and responsible. Our pups received plenty of love, exercise, and attention. Christy maintained excellent communication, providing regular updates and even sending adorable photos of the pups having a great time. We felt completely at ease knowing our dogs were in such capable hands. I highly recommend Christy to anyone in need of reliable and compassionate dog care.

Schedule
Currently, I do not work from home so I can be gone for extended periods of time depending on the day. I have walking trails right out my back door so its easy to get in a 20 min walk at a moments notice.

Safety, trust & environment
I have watched dogs and cats for years and they have free reign in the condo. They can sit on the couch with me so far they have all snuggled with me at night. However, if a pet needs their crate to feel at home and have a safe place when away from home I can set it up. My condo community has a large several acre park setting with a mile of trails within our property.
A typical day
Fun activities include long walks, playing chase or fetch depending on the pups ability and occasional hikes if it fits the schedule. I am pretty active but in nice weather I do enjoy relaxing on the back patio. Fresh air is good for us all.
