I have pet sat for various neighbors and friends since I was a child. I have had cats and dogs most of my life. I currently have an 9 year old female cat who’s spayed. I also have 3 kittens who were born in 2026. I had a cat live to 18.5 who required me to give him subcutaneous fluids regularly for years and also was home with a feeding tube for a time. I am not trained in veterinary medicine, this was simply a life experience.

Schedule
I’m currently working my other jobs when I choose, so I have a flexible schedule. I can care for pets any day of the week at any hour of the day that I am available.

Safety, trust & environment
All animals must be fully vaccinated and up to date on their vaccinations. I have a fenced front yard to keep dogs safe. I have a baby gate to keep dogs downstairs in my home where there is no carpet in case of accidents and to allow my cats a safe place to escape. My kids are 13 and 7, if they were in charge my house would be a zoo. For drop ins*, I can spend an agreed upon amount of time at your home giving your pet attention. I love to watch TV while cuddling with a dog or petting a purring cat. I drive a large vehicle that makes transport easy for dogs. My whole household loves animals, and we don’t believe in corporal punishment. *Drop ins and dog walking- I reserve the right to cancel walks in temps below 25*. Pet owners are responsible for providing any snow removal that is necessary for me to safely access your home and park my vehicle.

A typical day
I have a fenced in yard for safely playing fetch in my yard. I can walk your dog around my neighborhood safely most of the year. I often use Melvin Park to play fetch in the winter. I will play with your cat and give them lots of affection if they want it. Until I’ve built a relationship with your pet, I will avoid leaving them alone in my home. I will not let your dog off leash unless we are both completely comfortable with my ability to vocally command your dog.
