Recently retired and love dogs!!!
I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. I’ve recently retired and lost my guy over the summer after 16 3/4 years. I have also adopted a number of senior dogs over the years to help them have their best life. I’m comfortable with most dogs and really enjoy hanging out with them. Not ready to adopt a new dog just yet, but truly miss the joy they bring.

I’ve had pet sitters over the years when traveling and will work with you to understand what you want for your pet. I expect that to include a walk, some play time, and a number of photos to demonstrate you are getting what you pay for as well as getting to see your boy/girl happy. Would also send you a note detailing anything unusual or an update on any requested items.

Working with Chris is a DREAM. We are so lucky we found him. He comes over to let our dog out while my fiancé and I are both at the office and can’t get home before the end of the day. He is reliable, detailed, attentive, incredibly professional, and approachable. I know that my dog adores him and is so happy to see Chris every time he walks through the door. Every time we leave the house on mornings that Chris is scheduled to come, we tell our dog “Mr. Christopher is coming to see you today!” and I swear our dog knows what that means now. Chris is SO kind & such a lovely person. When you meet him you can tell within a couple minutes that he is a great, trustworthy guy. 10/10 recommend Chris. So thankful for you, Chris!

I recently had the pleasure of having Chris cat-sit for an a two-week period. TLDR: I couldn’t have been more satisfied with the experience and I cannot recommend him enough. Our initial sitter had a family commitment and I was left looking for a new person right before the trip. The resident kitty here will be 24 in 5 months' time, so I was understandably nervous about having a new person care for her. But from the moment he walked in, Chris somehow put me at ease and charmed the cat while he was at it. He is punctual to a fault, polite, and his love for animals shines through. His updates were fantastic, tons of photos, and (per our security video) he talks to the cat as he makes her food! 😂 Kitty was clearly taken in with him and he was more than happy to show her love in my absence. I've met some really nice animal people thru this app, and most have been fantastic sitters. Even then, Chris is a notch above the rest. Sadly, I cannot give him a 10-out-of-5, so 5-out-of-5 it has to be. If he is available for your next pet-sitting needs, I'd suggest you do yourself and your pets a favor, and hire this man, stat! :)
We had the best experience using Chris with our new Rescue pup “Mac”. He was prompt for all our scheduled visits and sent great pics and updates of the twice daily walks & visits he completed with our dog. I will definitely be using Chris again if the occasion arises for help walking our dog.

Schedule
I’m recently retired after 30+ years of working. Dependable and available most days/times with a little notice. Prefer not to do late nights (after 11pm) or early mornings (before 7am), but open to it if really needed.
