I have extensive experience caring for and training active, intelligent dogs, including my own Border Collie, Scamper. For the past four years I have worked with him daily on obedience, recall and herding skills, giving him a genuine outlet for his energy, drive and intelligence. This hands on experience has given me a strong understanding of how to meet the physical and mental needs of high energy working dogs. I understand the unique needs of working breeds and have experience caring for a variety of dogs, including working line Border Collies, Spaniels and Labradors. I am confident handling energetic, intelligent dogs and enjoy helping them stay engaged through training, enrichment activities and structured exercise. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, games, training sessions or simply plenty of attention and care, I will make sure they are happy, safe and well looked after while in my care.

Your dog's safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. I provide a calm, secure and dog-friendly home environment where dogs are treated as part of the family. I take time to understand each dog's routine, preferences and any special requirements so that they feel comfortable and settled. My secure garden provides a safe space for exercise and play, and all walks are carried out responsibly with your dog's safety in mind. Having cared for Scamper, I understand the importance of balancing exercise, rest and mental stimulation, particularly for active dogs.

Chris is an excellent dog-sitter, he takes exceptional care of my energetic pup! He has done many day time watches with my dog and I wouldn't hesitate to strongly recommend him. His own dog is always friendly when we greet. You can safely leave your pet with Chris.

Schedule
Caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home, which means I am around throughout the day to provide companionship, exercise and supervision. My own dog, Scamper, is a high-energy dog, so regular walks, playtime and enrichment activities are already part of our day. Dogs staying with me benefit from a structured routine, plenty of attention and opportunities to exercise in my secure garden and on walks tailored to their needs.
