Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine! I work in an outside sales role, which gives me a great deal of flexibility with my schedule and time management. Because of that, I’m able to stop home throughout the day for potty breaks, playtime, walks, or simply to give your pet some extra love and attention. At home, I have a doggy door that provides access to a fully fenced and secure backyard, allowing dogs to safely go outside as they please. I also have security cameras in the backyard so I can keep an eye on things and ensure everyone is safe and comfortable, even when I’m away for a short time. I’m committed to maintaining each pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, exercise, medication if needed, and plenty of affection, so they feel happy, comfortable, and right at home.

Safety, trust & environment

I offer overnight pet care exclusively in my home, where your pup will be treated like family! If you're not looking for overnight boarding, I'm also happy to provide drop-in visits multiple times throughout the day, with each visit lasting 1–2 hours. Whether your pet needs potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or just some extra companionship, I'm happy to tailor each visit to their routine. Since I have a very sweet and cuddly Border Collie mix named Dexter, it's important that any dogs staying in my home are dog-friendly. Dexter loves having a playmate, but to make sure everyone is comfortable, I like to schedule a quick meet-and-greet at a nearby park before confirming an overnight stay.

Information Christopher U. would like to know about your pet

It’s helpful to know a few key things ahead of time to make sure your pup has the best stay possible: - Their personality and energy level - How they get along with other dogs - Feeding schedule and any allergies - Crate or free-roaming preference (especially with the doggy door while I am away) - Any medications or special needs The more I know upfront, the better I can make them feel right at home! I look forward to hosting your loving pet in my home 😊

A typical day

Your pup’s stay will be filled with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and love! 🐾 - Neighborhood walks and outdoor adventures: We’ll take regular leash walks around the neighborhood (or visit a nearby dog park when appropriate) to burn off extra energy, explore new smells, and keep your pup happy and engaged. - Fun training moments: I love incorporating short, positive-reinforcement training sessions throughout the day; whether that’s practicing sit, stay, recall, or learning fun tricks like “spin” and “high five.” - A comfortable introduction: Before any stay, I like to schedule a quick meet-and-greet at a local park so your pup and Dexter can meet in a neutral, relaxed environment and make sure everyone feels comfortable. - Playtime, cuddles, and backyard fun: Your dog will have plenty of opportunities to run around in our fenced backyard, relax, get belly rubs, and enjoy lots of love from both me and my roommate, Kate. - Daily updates so you never miss a moment: I’ll send daily photos and short video clips so you can see all the tail wags, adventures, and cozy moments. Plus, every pup gets their own signature selfie (just like the ones featured in my profile)! 🐶

Pet care experience

What sets me apart from other sitters is the combination of my experience, patience, and genuine love for animals. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors, and I understand that every pet has unique needs and deserves personalized attention. I’m experienced with crate training, leash training, and reinforcing basic commands, making me a great fit for puppies and younger dogs who are still learning. Above all, I strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment so both pets and their owners feel completely at ease.
