Let Our Dog Entertain Your Dog!
Before kids, I fostered over 25 dogs through Secondhand Mutts Dog Rescue. I foster ‘failed’ and kept Kramer, my 90 lb Rottweiler Mutt. He is no longer with us, but we adopted Dwight as an 8 week old puppy in August of 2022. We have 5 kids in the house from ages 7-15 who have had regular experience with multiple dogs. While we don’t task the kids with caring for Rover guests, they are helpful at giving pets attention.

We really appreciated that our pup came back tired and happy from his time with Christopher and Tricia. They provided some helpful updates and photos throughout his stay and were great about showing us the space he’d be staying in so everyone was comfortable. We’ll definitely consider rebooking with them the next time!
They took amazing care of our dog. I have never seen him so happy. They sent photos every day and kept us in the loop of what was going on all week. Communication was fantastic. Would highly recommend booking them to watch your dog.
Christopher and Tricia are wonderful! Our dog Lola really enjoyed her 8 nights with the whole family! She enjoyed being able to play with Dwight and I’m sure Lola was exhausted after playing. The family is so sweet and answered all our questions at our meet and greet! They sent lots of pictures and we felt very comfortable leaving her with the family. We will definitely contact them again if needed.
Thanks for accommodating last minute and for reassuring me Boots was behaving. He must have had a fun and active day with Dwight, as he slept well tonight! Will be booking again with Tricia, Chris and Dwight in the future.
Such a wonderful family and took such good care of our pup Lola for the day! She seems to have had a great time playing with Dwight! Thank you again for taking such good care of Lola!
I am 100% comfortable leaving Sammy with Christopher and Tricia and their family. It seems like he is very comfortable and relaxed in their home. I would not hesitate to leave Sammy with them again!

Schedule
I work from home full-time. My wife, who will also be assisting, is an educator thus home during the summer months and holiday breaks. My job allows me a great deal of flexibility in helping to maintain your dogs schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
Rover guests will be treated like Dwight’s foster sibling for the day(s). Our dog uses an “invisible” buried fence and receiver collar. Your dog can be on a lead in the yard or we can train them (our dog learned very quickly) to utilize our second receiver collar.

A typical day
Our dog loves playing in our large backyard. He spends time chasing squirrels, frisbees, balls and an RC car. We enjoy walks around our neighborhood or through the Metroparks with Dwight.
