Pet care experience

I’m a patient and caring dog walker and dog sitter with 4+ years of experience with various dog breeds (including large dogs). In previous roles handled up to 5 dogs simultaneously and cared for 2 blind elder dogs. I’m eager to join long stress-relieving walks (regardless the weather condition) and build a relationships of loving and caring your pet. I recently moved to San Francisco after an incredible experience living in NY for 2 years as an exchange student. During my time in NY I was working as a part time pet sitter, but now I have all my time dedicated to work as a pet sitter. Availability: >> Monday to Friday 7am to 9pm >> Every other Saturdays and Sundays 7am to 5pm • As a walker, I always make sure to have an extra leash (a reflective and double bungee designed leash which absorbs shocks avoiding your dog and myself of getting hurt) with me in case I need to use it. • when I’m not used to the dog or if I know it’s not a sociable dog I prefer avoid encounters with other dogs crossing the street or playing with it trying to distract it. • If I have to walk in the street, usually I’m walking facing traffic and keeping the dog on my left side in a short leash to make sure we’re all safe. • If I have to use my AirPods I’ll be always only with one of it to make sure I’m listening everything surround us. • Usually I keep treats with me to use it as a distraction if I need. I’d never give your dog a treat without your consent. • As I always have treats, poop bags is something never missing in my pockets and if I noticed you don’t have anymore I’ll always leave some of it attached to the leash. As a dog person I’ll always look after your dogs as I look after mines. I’ll make sure to keep it safe, comfortable and happy. I work full time with pet care. I walk dogs in my neighborhood, petsit some at my home, train some dogs. I'm a canine specialist student. I'll always follow the instructions I receive by the pet owner, if it agrees with the positive reinforcement (operant conditioning) method. I'd rather decline a service if any aggressive reinforcement is used to educate any pet.

Christopher took such great care of Samantha. She loved spending time with him and I would absolutely recommend him and I'd book again.

Christopher was available for a last-minute boarding, and he was great. Great communication, updates, and our dog seemed to have a great time with him. Will definitely book with him again!

Christopher was an absolute star with our crazy boy, again. He let him cuddle and be his wacky self all weekend. Our dog was so happy to stare at him during work and play with him during breaks. We absolutely love that we could leave our dog in Christopher’s more than capable hands.
