Fun attentive animal care expert
I ran a dog kennel in college, boarding and training dogs. Since then I have professionally trained and cared for dogs, cats, turtles, fish, sharks, harbor seals, manatees and dolphins. After saying goodbye to my own amazing dog and companion of 15 years I haven't been ready to commit to another of my own, but I have a lot to offer your family's pet and understand how important a role they play in your life. I would be happy to discuss any training goals you have with your pet and assist in their progression during their stay with me. I start my work day early, so the morning walks I offer take place at 6am or before. My day job typically wraps up around 3pm, so there is a lot of time left in the day for 4-legged fun! I have a daughter who assists with feeding, water, brushing, walking, and play (all highly supervised). She is great with animals, very respectful and gentle. It's ok if your dog plays a little rough, licks, etc just no child aggressive dogs please. Looking forward to meeting you and the furry members of your family. Chris

Chris was a great dog sitter! He was very communicative throughout the stay and sent plenty of photos and videos of my dogs, which gave me peace of mind. I could tell they were well cared for and happy. I will definitely book with him again in the future!
Chris was a fantastic communicator and made everything so easy. He kept us updated throughout, which gave us real peace of mind and let us fully enjoy our time away knowing our pup was in great hands.

I have a big dog and it is not always easy to find someone that will have big dogs in their house. Christopher and his daughter were wonderful playing fetch and taking Chase on walks. Initially when we went to me Christopher, my dog Chase, had so much fun he didn't want to leave. I was completely at ease knowing that Christopher was watching Chase. I received frequent pictures and videos. It made me smile to see how much fun Chase was having staying Christopher.

Schedule
I work full time so mostly sit on the weekends to provide maximum attention to your pup. Activities could include car rides, hikes, and games/activities around the house. On a work day expect an early walk (5-530am), then a second walk in the afternoon. Lots of love and attention in the evening hours.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a 1100 square foot 2 bdrm home. Pets are allowed on furniture, beds, etc unless you would prefer not in order to maintain consistency with your home. There is a fenced front and back patio, and large green space out back. Access to any of these areas will depend on your pets behavior to utilize them safely.
A typical day
I can do any number of activities you suggest to provide familiarity and stability during your absence, and throw a few novel activities in there to enrich their mind and body! Around the house we can play with toys, hide n seek, train behaviors, etc. Outside the house there are walking trails, hikes, etc. Once a relationship/trust is established offleash activities such as parks, beaches, etc are always fun.
