Lifelong animal lover in Cap Hill!
Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember – dogs, cats, fish, you name it. Growing up with multiple pets at once, and spending time at grandparents’ houses that were just as full of animals, taught me how to read them, adapt to their needs, and stay calm when things get unpredictable. I’m not going to pretend I have certifications or years of professional experience. What I do have is genuine, lifelong familiarity with animals and the common sense to treat yours like my own. I’m comfortable with older pets who need a little extra patience and younger ones who need a lot of extra energy. I pay attention, I don’t cut corners, and I actually care – which I think matters more than anything else.

Homer and Ellie have taken a liking to Christopher! I’ve used him for drop ins and I always get a heads up when he is on his way over and I get thorough updates. He always confirms the requests I have so I can rest easy (I.e. dogs have been fed, cone is on, etc.) I’ve also appreciated his flexibility and my last minute bookings!
Christopher is amazing! He's great at communicating, he stays in touch. He was flexible and followed care instructions perfectly. My pup was very comfortable around him. Definitely recommend working with him!

Schedule
My schedule is wide open right now, which means I can be flexible in ways most sitters can’t. Last-minute booking? Not a problem. Extended stays or mid-day drop-ins on short notice? I can make it work. Your pet gets my full attention – not a slot squeezed between other obligations.

I’m based in a calm, clean apartment in Downtown Denver. No pets of my own means no territorial issues, no surprise allergies, and a relaxed environment where your pet can settle in comfortably. I’m home consistently throughout the day and treat every animal in my care with the same attention I’d want for my own. You can expect regular updates and photos so you’re never left wondering how things are going. If something comes up, I communicate – I won’t leave you guessing.
A typical day
No two days look exactly the same, and I think that’s how it should be – every pet has their own rhythm and I follow their lead. That said, you can count on regular walks, plenty of attention, and real downtime that isn’t just being left alone in a corner. I’m right next to Cheesman Park, which is one of the better spots in Denver for a good long walk or just some time outside. Dogs staying with me will get out there regularly. For drop-ins and boarding alike, I keep things calm, consistent, and attentive – no rushing through the routine to get to the next thing
