Island Animal Lover
Hello! I am a retired professional currently living in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. I am a lifelong animal lover and have owned many dogs and cats over the years. My circumstances are no longer conducive to me owning pets so I am offering my services as a house/pet sitter to get my animal “fix”. As mentioned above, I am an experienced dog and cat owner. I have owned dogs from certified breeders, “backyarders” as well as rescue/shelters. I volunteered at an SPCA animal shelter for several years. I also have owned tropical fish and have experience with many species of aviary birds including parrots. I am healthy and am a non-smoker. I am willing to look after your pets and take care of whatever maintenance / chores are required to keep your place humming along! As a pet owner I know how important it is to you to know that your pets are well cared for when you are absent. I will treat them as they are my own so you can have peace of mind when you are gone. I am computer literate and use social media so staying in touch when you are gone will be something I will do on a regular basis. I do charge a daily fee. This fee is negotiable depending on the level of house and pet care required. Please reach out if you think I can help you out.

Christopher was professional, friendly and kind right from the start. He spent a week looking after our 2 dogs and 2 cats, sent us photos and updates, giving us peace of mind knowing they were being looked after and cared for. We would highly recommend Chris!

Christopher traveled to our campground for a drop in visit for my 2 dogs. Before that he went above and beyond to meet us prior so that the animals could meet him. He was great with them. He obviously has lots of experience with animals and shows a confidence that is comforting to them. He followed all my directions and communicated very well. It was a great experience! We'd definitely have him back again!

I am currently retired and have a great deal of flexibility with my routines and schedules. I am also available for long term sits in your home.

A typical day
I endeavor to ensure your dog's normal routine is followed. This reduces stress. I follow all instructions provided to me. I also provide regular feedback.
