Hi, I’m Jacob! My husband and I recently moved to Indianapolis from Fort Lauderdale to be closer to family, and I’m excited to start caring for pets in our new city. I’m the proud dad of two 4-year-old French Bulldogs, Aspen and Onyx. As anyone with Frenchies knows, they can be high-maintenance health-wise, so I’m used to paying close attention to breathing, temperature, activity levels, and overall comfort. I take the best care of my own dogs and will do the same for yours. I’ve been walking and caring for dogs for over 15 years (mostly informally for family and friends). Over the years I’ve had Black Labs, Golden Retrievers, and Dachshunds, plus cats growing up. I’ve also raised macaws, sugar gliders, and other exotic pets, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of animals and personalities. Your dog or cat will get calm, consistent care from someone who genuinely loves animals. I currently offer: • Dog walking (short or long) • Drop-in visits • House sitting I’m in nursing school, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available weekdays, weekends, and holidays (I’ll block off the occasional cruise dates in advance). I’m calm by nature but have plenty of energy for walks of any length, and I’m happy to follow whatever routine and sleeping arrangements work best for your pet. Safety, trust & environment
I only provide care in your pet's own home, so they get to stay in their familiar environment, routine, and space rather than adjusting to somewhere new. As a Frenchie dad to two dogs with health needs, I'm naturally attentive to safety — checking that gates, doors, and yards are secure, keeping a close eye on eating and bathroom habits, and watching for any signs something's off. I treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I'd want for my own, and I'm always reachable for updates or questions while you're away.

Schedule
I'm in nursing school (mainly online classes at the moment), which keeps my schedule flexible and varied week to week. I'm available weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and can typically accommodate morning, midday, or evening visits depending on what your pet needs. The only exception is the occasional cruise I'll block off well in advance. If you need a consistent daily routine or last-minute coverage, I'm happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits. My schedule is very flexible.

- I always want to know ahead of time: feeding schedule and food type, any medications or health conditions, temperament (shy, anxious, reactive to other animals, etc.), potty/litter habits, favorite toys or comfort items, and emergency contact info including your vet. For dogs, I also like to know leash behavior and any commands they respond to; for cats, whether they're an indoor-only cat and how they typically react to strangers. The more detail you share, the better I can keep their routine consistent and catch anything unusual early.
