Pet care experience
Medical Student Pet Sitter
Current medical student and former Fire Fighter and NASA Fellow. I’ve worked as an animal care technician for my undergrad university and have been caring for animals most of my life. I helped raise our family dogs from tiny puppies all the way until they were 15 years old, through the fun, energetic years and the slower senior years. I’ve also helped raise kittens and cared for elderly cats, including keeping up with their routines, comfort, and any special needs. I treat every pet like a family member with patience, consistency, and attention. I do all of my studying from my laptop so I’m home a lot and can set up wherever your pets need me spending plenty of time keeping them company, sticking to their routine, and checking in often.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
In your home, I follow your usual routine as closely as possible like same feeding times, walk schedule, crate rules, and house rules. Safety and comfort comes first with regular potty breaks, playtime, and quiet downtime if they’re more relaxed or older. I’m very comfortable with detailed instructions and giving medications if needed. In my own routine, My flexible schedule lets me be present and keep an eye on your pets throughout the day. I keep water bowls full, clean up accidents promptly, and send updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing.
Ratings and reviews
Christopher is so good with my cats and I feel so comfortable leaving them when I know he will be checking in on them!

This is the second time we've asked Chris to look after Felix. This trip was longer than the last since we were traveling internationally, and once again Chris took excellent care of him. As before, Chris came by to feed Felix, play with him, clean up the area afterward, and send us photos and updates after each visit. He was also attentive to the details and very responsive throughout our trip. We'll definitely continue to ask Chris to look after Felix whenever we're out of town!
Christopher was great with Cairo and communicated very well l with Cairo. Would have him again.

Christopher was everything a pet parent could ask for! He was super responsive, paid attention to the details, and made sure to spend the full allotted time with my cats, even if it was just to sit and earn their trust or play with them. I can’t recommend him enough!

Christopher did a great job taking care of my daughter’s kitten while she was back home for the holiday week. He made sure the kitten was fed, the bowl was cleaned, and trash was dumped. Christoper also played with the kitten afterwards. We will use him again next time my daughter is away.
Chris was an excellent dog sitter! He was wonderful at communicating and our dog loved spending time with him. We will definitely use him again!

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I do most of my medical school studying from my laptop. I can set up wherever your pets need me and can structure my day around your pet’s needs from feeding on schedule, playtime, and meds if needed.
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsover 101 lbsChristopher can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
- I like to know as much as possible so I can keep your pet safe and comfortable. Things that really help are daily routine likefeeding times, walk schedule, and usual potty times. Any medical conditions, medications, or mobility issues. What is allowed/not allowed to do (furniture, crate, yard, etc.). Fears or triggers such as storms, loud noises, certain handling. The more I can know ahead of time, the more I can make things feel normal for them!
